An Angel Refuge is a Class 3 Level 1 Cosmic Anomaly occupied by the Angel Cartel Pirate Faction. It is commonly found in high security systems. See Pirate Faction Occupancy Chart for location details. The anomaly site itself is a small open area (with no Acceleration gate) containing various structures. When attacked, the pirates will send multiple waves of reinforcements. Each group's appearance is triggered by the destruction the previous group. The names and amount of ships listed may vary slightly, but will always be Frigate and/or Destroyer class. There are two variations of the site.

Variation 1

Unlike most Cosmic Anomalies, there is no message upon warping to the site.
