In the middle of the instance are three or four Guristas Battleship-class and zero to two Cruiser-class NPC's, but these do not gain aggro easily (you must get within 10km). Therefore this entire complex can be completed with a covert ops ship, or other equally defenseless craft.
Note: There is a chance the BS may agro once you being analyzing/salvaging. Failing a Salvaging attempt may cause one of the Guristas Derelict to trigger a booby trap for 250 damage.
