Gurista Fortress Deadspace
This deadspace exploration site is comprised of two rooms, each accessible using an acceleration gate.
Room 1
Room 1 is comprised of 4 groups of NPCs. The closest group (Group 1) will attack on jump in, and the rest of them aggro by proximity.
Group 1:
- 4x Dire Pithi Saboteur (Frigate class, Jamming)
- 4x Dire Pithi Wrecker (Frigate class)
- 2x Pithatis Executor (Cruiser class)
Group 2:
- 2x Pithi Saboteur (Frigate class, Jamming)
- 4x Pithum Abolisher (Cruiser class)
- 3x Dire Pithum Eraser (Elite Cruiser class)
- 3x Pith Destroyer (Battleship class)
Group 3:
- 3x Pithatis Enforcer (Cruiser class)
- 3x Pith Destroyer (Battleship class)
Once all of these groups have been destroyed, the acceleration gate leading to the second room will become unlocked.
Room 2
- Group 1: 3x Guristas Stasis Towers, 3x Guristas Cruise Missile Batteries
- Group 2: 2x Dire Pithi Arrogator (Elite Frigate class, warp scrambling), 3x Pithatis Enforcer (Cruiser class), 3x Pithatis Enforcer (Cruiser class), 3x Pithatis Death Dealer (Cruiser class), 3x Dire Pithum Eraser (Elite Cruiser class), 4x Pith Destroyer (Battleship class)
Upon entering the room, the Cruise Missile Batteries and Stasis Towers will automatically aggro and start firing upon/webifying your ship. Your starting position is approximately 71km from the 3 Stasis Towers and 60km from the 3 Cruise Missile Batteries. It is recommended that you immediately destroy the Stasis towers, especially if your defensive strategy relies on speed. Additionally, the Dire Pithi Arrogator NPC can warp scramble your ship if they come into range.
Be aware there is a normal cruiser, the only one of its kind ; upon this cruiser's destruction, a Dread Guristas Battleship may spawn.
If a DG Battleship does spawn, destroying it will either lead to an escalation or to a dead end. If no DB Battleship spawns, proceed with destroying the four bunkers by the station ruins.
If no pop-ups appear then the complex has not escalated, and the deadspace is complete. If you do get a successful exploration escalation then the message HIRED GUN appears in the Expeditions tab of your mission journal, with information and a destination to the next encounter.
Escalation: HIRED GUN Part 1
Area 1; 5 Battleship class npc; 4 Cruiser class npcs and a possible Dread Guristas Battleship.
Inside is nothing, but you will get either an escalation or DEAD END.
Escalation: HIRED GUN Part 2
This stage comprises; 7 Frigate class npcs (3 dire); 6 Cruiser class npcs (2 dire); 3 Battleship class npcs and a possible Dread Guristas Battleship. There is a chance the escalation will end after this site.
Escalation: HIRED GUN Part 3
Area 1; 7 Frigate class npcs (3 dire); 4 Battleship class npcs and a possible Dread Guristas Battleship.
Activate the acceleration gate. Inside is 4 Frigate class npcs; 6 Cruiser class npcs (5 Dire); and 2 Battleship class npcs.
The escalation will either end here, or continue.
Escalation: HIRED GUN Part 4
Unlike the previous escalation sections, this one begins with a clear acceleration gate.
1st Room; 3 Battleship class npcs; 6 Cruiser class npcs; 5 Frigate class npcs.
2nd Room; 3 Frigate class npcs; 18 Cruiser class npcs (7 Dire); 4 Battleship class npcs; and 1 BS named Dread Pith Protagonist (End Boss).
To blitz (if you can take full room aggro) just kill the Pith Protagonist.
