Voltaire Leriel has been a member of the [b]BIG[/b] corporation since 2004, and a director for almost as long. Though the CEO of BIG is TornSoul, Voltaire has played a leading role in the corporation since he joined, being the longest standing director of the corporation with Rattus as a close second.

Voltaire attended EVE Fanfest in both 2006 and 2007, having met more corp mates in real life than any other single member (about 17). During Fanfest 2006, a bond and mutual understanding was forged between TornSoul and Voltaire that would shape the course of BIG for all time. TornSoul plays the role of the principled and idealistic visionary, while Voltaire plays the opposite role of pragmatic project manager.

Voltaire's primary role in BIG has been the daily leadership, organization, management and recruitment for the corp as well as production, industry and sales.

Voltaire was married to fellow EVE player Ligeia in 2007, whom he met offline in 2002. TornSoul traveled from Copenhagen, Denmark to Morgantown, West Virginia for the wedding ceremony.

Voltaire quit EVE in February 2012 to raise his newborn son, but returned in November 2014 to rebuild the BIG corporation which had been lying dormant for over a year.

Voltaire has extensive knowledge of EVE's roles and title system and has begun to incorporate this knowledge into the roles and access rights page.
