The Haudenosuanee Club

Menu

DRINKS

Thukker Ale, Spiced Wine, and smurgleblaster are the most commonly ordered items, though there is also a well-stocked selection of tequilas, mescals, rums, and Gallente wine. The house coffee is real coffee, with a kick.

FOOD

The kitchen relies on tribal agriculture from the Annwn Matar Settlement to fill out much of its menu.

Beginnings

Roasted Butternut Squash Soup

  • Description: A thick soup, garnished with cheese and pumpkin seeds.

Starfish Poppers

  • Description: A combination of cream cheese and cheddar cheese stuffing with roasted jalapeno peppers, coated with cornbread batter and fried.

Honeydew Melon Soup

  • Description: This cool refreshing summer soup with honeydew is the perfect soup for a hot summer evening meal. It not only counters a swelter by quenching your thirst, its light and lively flavor will juicily satisfy your appetite.

Apache Soup

  • Description: A spicy blend of corn, hominy, daylily blooms, tumbleweed, moss, honeysuckle, veggies, and herbs.

Main Courses

Alder-smoked Salmon

  • Description: Wild Sockeye Salmon is hand filleted & traditionally smoked over Alder wood. Served with a rose hip puree, and garlic mashed potatoes.

Phien-tye

  • Description: A blue-corn fry-bread stuffed with buffalo meat and smothered with red or green chili sauce, served with fresh grilled vegetables and beans.

Buffalo Chili

  • Description: This spicy chili recipe uses tribally raised buffalo, or bison meat, instead of the usual ground beef. Buffalo chili is lower in fat and calories than a beef chili since buffalo are a leaner animal. Served in a Jalapeno Bowl.

House Special

  • Description: A lightly grilled Cariboo medallion, served with hazel-nut roasted butternut squash, saskatoon berry sauce and seasonal veggies.

Sunset Offerings

House Special

  • Description: Warm fry-bread topped with Kahlua ice cream.
  • Original Contributor: Sophie Starsparrow

SMOKE
