"7089 A.D. - Gallente -The second planet in the VH-451 system is bought by people from Tau-ceti system of French origin."

I made my own consolidated version of the timeline about a year ago, and I noticed this entry. The system in question is Luminaire (a later entry states that another planet in the system was purchased by a Mega-corporation, presumably being the origin of the Caldari). This date is 900 years before the discovery of the EVE gate, and I sincerely doubt that these Frenchmen were able to purchase a system that would not be discovered for the better part of a millennium. I presume that someone at CCP slipped on the "0" rather than the "9", and in my timeline it is corrected thus. I would suggest that the same is done here. --Alexeph Stoekai 21:23, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

Thank you for pointing that out, Edited and waiting aproval

Second issue with the VH-451 related entries (two of them). Gallente Prime is Luminaire VI not II and Caldari Prime is Luminaire VII not III. The entries would indicate that the people from Tau Ceti settle on II and the megacorporation on III. To be in line with IG reality shouldn't this change? --Dex Nederland 14:00, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

Replaced with the new improved and updated timeline from CCP. Feel free to add to this (with the appropiate attributation). If you want to flesh out a time period, please create a new page and link. --CCP Ginger 14:00, 9 September 2009 (UTC)

"AD 7993

   The third planet in the VH-451 system is bought by a mega-corporation. Small-scale colonization starts soon after "

I would presume that this is referring to Caldari Prime. As mentioned above, though, Caldari Prime is Luminaire VII (and a good deal colder than the Gallente Prime), so this might need to be revised at some point -- Mark726 6 February 2012

Timeline Notes

Additional Timeline notes.

===========

3805 A.D.

   * Amarr - The Conformists, a group within the Unified Catholic Church, settles on Soekhevti, a planet within the Sol system.

COMMENT: Sol is Earth's system; unless mankind is creating planets at this point, we only have eight planets there: Mercury, Venus, Earth, etc (poor Pluto!). I'd recommend using another system?

===========

22463 A.D.

   * The Gallenteans spot the Caldari on Caldari Prime, but are unable to establish contact.

22588 A.D.

   * The Gallenteans build their first star gate.

22631 A.D.

   * The Cultural Deliverance Society (CDS) arrives on Caldari.

COMMENT: Given that Gallente Prime and Caldari Prime are in the same solar system, did the Gallente actually venture outside their solar system for 43 years before landing on the other inhabited planet in their system? Or, alternatively, was there possibly a landing on Caldari Prime by Gallente Prime prior to 22588? Or should the last date shown above be changed?

===========

23224 - 23248 A.D.

   * Approximate period over which capsules were introduced into the Caldari military forces and saw action in the Caldari-Gallent War. This followed years of experimental development of pod technology since its introduction to Ishukone by the Jovians.

AD 21346

   * (Approx) Emperor Zaragram II takes power in the Amarr Empire [2]

COMMENT: Impossible. Ingame we have a reference to Emperor Arrach Sarum (Divine Commodore rank), who ruled in 21423 when the Amarr conquered Ealur. Thus, Zaragram's rule must have started after that point.

YC 110 Jamyl Sarum, long thought dead, returns to the Amarr Empire and repels the Elder Fleet with a mysterious 'superweapon' at the Battle of Mekhios notes: Added the link to the battle of mekhios.

Sansha Timeline

YC 5

   * Sansha’s Nation begins to form

YC 37

   * Sansha Kuvakei’s experiments are uncovered, and his nation is attacked and dismantled by the four empires. Sansha himself is killed

COMMENTARY: The Sansha timeline needs some pushing back and expanding upon its total time frame.

The Nation is destroyed in YC 37, putting it at about a 73 year difference between its destruction and the beginning of the Capsuleer era. This conflicts with numerous source materials in the game as stating the Nation's destruction as OVER a century ago (100[+] years).

On another note, the actual time between the Nation's foundation and destruction feels far too small. Withing approximately 32 years the Nation begins to formally form itself, populate and control up to 3 or more regions? It would make sense as a "formalization" of say, some decades of work that already went into its infrastructure. There are no notes to clarify if this is the case or not, merely that it "began" to form. This implies to me that Sansha began his vision at that time, rather than capitalizing on previous decades of work.

The first is a confirmed canon-conflict, the second needs a lot of clarification or you will have some very odd figures going on with how the Nation worked in 3 decades.
