Angel Vigil is a deadspace combat site found by Probing for exploration sites in any region that contains Angel Cartel pirates. This combat site consists of 2 different areas accessed by an Acceleration gate. The gates will permit Frigates, Destroyers, Cruisers, Battlecruisers and their Tech 2 counterparts.

NPC ship class encountered within this combat site is Frigate, Destroyer, Cruiser and Battlecruiser class.

First Area

This area consists of sentry towers and a quantity of Angel NPC's guarding a locked acceleration gate. This gate can be unlocked with the proper tag (Angel Gold Tag) or by destroying the Smuggler Commander NPC. Shooting the Smuggler Gate will spawn the Smuggler Commander NPC. (you do not have to destroy this gate, merely shooting at it once is sufficient)

Initial Spawn: 10 x Angel Sentry Tower; 3 x Gistum Liquidator (Cruiser); 3 x Gistum Primus (Battlecruiser); 1 x Gistatis Smuggler Guard (Battlecruiser)

Message in Local Chat Channel after shooting Smugglers Gate.

"Gist ships have just come through the gate."

"Smuggler Commander: Must I do EVERYTHING myself around here? I'll have all you maggots thrown into the slave pens after this is over."

First Spawn:: 2 x Gistii Impaler (Frigate); 3 x Gistatis Tribuni (Battlecruiser); 1 x Gistatis Smuggler Commander (Battlecruiser) (Gate Trigger)

Second Area

Warning: It is advised to destroy all of the ship spawns first as they will not cause further spawns. Attacking only one of the Stasis Towers will trigger Spawn 1. Attacking only one of the Missile Battery's will trigger Spawn 2.

Initial Spawn: 4 x Gistior Defiler (Destroyer); 2 x Gistior Haunter (Destroyer); 3 x Gistum Phalanx (Cruiser); 3 x Gistatis Primus (Battlecruiser); 2 x Angel Stasis Tower (Trigger for Spawn 1); 2 x Angel Light Missile Battery (Trigger for Spawn 2); 2 x Angel Heavy Missile Battery (Trigger for Spawn 2)

"Pat Wead: You allowed them to destroy one of our Stasis towers, you numbskulls! Second division, get your asses in here NOW!"

Please note: Might have another possible spawn after destroying Stasis Tower. The action inside pocket was quick making it tough to keep track of all spawns.

"Pat Wead: And now you let them destroy one of our missile batteries! Inconceivable!"

Hint: There is a structure in the large Snake-shaped asteroid's called Pat's Shipyard. Shooting this structure one time will cause the spawn of Pat Wead.

Message in Local Chat Channel after attacking Pat's Shipyard.

"Pat Wead and his cohorts have exited the shipyard, ready for action."

Shipyard Spawn: 3 x Wead Fighter (Frigate); 3 x Wead Guardian (Battlecruiser); 1 x Pat Wead (Commander Cruiser) (Escalation Trigger)

Bonus

The Pat Wead wreck may contain faction loot. Commander wrecks may give Tech 2 salvage.

Escalation

Destroying the NPC 'Pat Wead' may escalate to "The Big Blue" expedition with this pop up message:

"Scanning through Pat Wead´s logs reveals that this druglord was surprisingly well connected, long lists of buyers and sellers throughout the neighboring regions would make this document a dream read of any law enforcement agent in the galaxy, if only all the vital parts were not in some completely alien code. No matter how much you let your central computer chew on this stuff, you get no feedback on any names or places, except perhaps one... this seems to be a hasty entry from almost a year back, not in code. At least the coordinates do reflect a true point in space."
