Pirate Faction Items

Pirate Faction Items share icons with normal items, but are identifiable based on the naming convention used to label them.

The naming convention for Pirate faction items is: [Pirate Faction prefix] [item type]. Example: Domination 100MN Afterburner, True Sansha Armor EM Hardener.

The prefixes are: "Dominion" for Angels; "Dark Blood" for Blood Raiders; "Dread Guristas" for Guristas, "True Sansha" for Sansha's Nation, and "Shadow Serpentis" for Serpentis.

Dog Tags

An NPC pirate may drop dog tags when their ship is destroyed. The tag name includes a substance that conveys the rank and may be traded at NPC corporation LP stores for some Loyalty Point items.

Pirate Officer Items

There are several Pirate Officers who drop unique items. These items have high meta values and are often better than their Tech 2 counterparts.

Pirate Officer items share icons with non-named items, but can be identified by their naming convention. The naming convention for Pirate Faction Items is: "[Pirate Officer's First Name]'s Modified [item name]". Examples: Mizuro's Modified 100MN Afterburner, Brynn's Modified 100MN Afterburner

Pirate Officer items are approximately equivalent in quality to the follow Deadspace items, using the A-, B-, C-, and X- Type labels found in the Deadspace item naming convention. The following table shows the equivalencies between the items. (C-Type items are the lowest relative quality, X-Type items are the highest relative quality)
