View source for Display Driver Stopped Working

Some users receive the error "Display Driver Has Stopped Responding" from their task bar after a 2-5 second screen flash (The screen flashes black and then back again).
It would seem that the error mainly occurs with the onboard Intel cards and there seems to be a generic fix for it.<br />


== The Fix ==

1. Press CTRL + ALT + F12 or navigate Start > Control Panel > Intel(R) graphics and media.<br />
2. Navigate to the side tab called '3D'.<br />
3. Ticket the Custom Settings box, if the Custom Settings box does not exist, proceed to External Step 1.<br />
4. Change your settings as follows (Feel free to ignore this step if you know what you're doing from hereon):<br />

'''''Vertex Processing: Enable Software Processing'''''<br />
'''''Vertical Sync: On'''''<br />
5. Click Apply, and then click Okay.<br />
6. Restart the EVE Online Client.<br />
7. Attempt to play, if it has not been fixed, open a petition or bug report.<br />

== External Steps ==
1. Look for a box which says "'''''Vertical Sync'''''".<br />
2. Make sure the drop down has selected "On".<br />
3. Click Apply, and then click Okay.<br />
4. Restart the EVE Online Client.<br />
5. Attempt to play, if it has not been fixed, open a petition or bug report.<br />
