Regarding the Mac Client section: >> 1. Doesn't seem to be accurate anymore. Result is: "Verification Failure Your EVE client installation may have modified, damaged or corrupt files. Please run repair.exe located in teh EVE game directory or re-install the game client. File not found: C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\common.ini

Of course, there is no repair.exe in this folder, and if there was it couldn't run without a cider wrapper. --Lelira Cirim 01:11, 15 May 2013 (GMT)

The launcher wouldn't run for me on Windows 7 x64. What fixed it for me was to install the x86 versions of the Microsoft Visual C++ Redisitrbutable software (2008, 2010, 2012 and 2013). --Cara Maela 06:40, 5 March 2015 (GMT)
