Very inadequate description of the "search" function. If you hit search, the filter gives you: ALL, TYPE, GROUP and CATEGORY. The columns in the assets window show: NAME, QUANTITY, GROUP, SIZE, SLOT, and VOLUME.

The filter "group" is useful, although the names are not identical to the actual group in the market browse, e.g., "cruisers" in the market but "cruiser" in assets.

"Type" and "Category"? There is no column for "type" and "category" in personal assets, only "group". I searched everywhere to see if there was a setting where I can add those two the columns to no avail--there is no setting.

I am sure CCP put that filter in there for a reason, but as of now, I do not see how one can search by "Type" and "Category", and I do not even know what the definition is of these two attributes. I assumed if "Cruiser" was the group, then "Ships" would be the category but that did not work. I tried "Ship" also, being that "Cruisers" is in market but "cruiser" is in assets, but "Ship" did not work either.

The article needs to be updated and edited for an explanation of how to use the filter's attribute screens, and/or CCP needs to fix the assets window.
