Talk:Aritcio Kor-Azor

Aritcio's text is rather outdated. The following change (including a few spelling changes, like "Imperial") would be welcome, even if requiring still quite a bit of formatting (personally, need to learn the Wiki syntax a bit better) as well as fitting the text into a suitable template. --Mithfindel 13:03, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

"Aritcio Kor-Azor is one of the Heirs to the Amarr Imperial throne. Aritcio was known as a master politician, possessing just the right mixture of dishonesty, paranoia and charm to ooze his way up the political ladder. Yet for all his slyness and cunning in carving himself a power position at the top, Aritcio was totally clueless when it comes to the problems of the common man. His total naivete stems not just from his sheltered life at the top of the pile, but also from his total lack of interest in the fates of the masses. Considered by most to be an egotistical, cold-hearted bastard, Aritcio was always careful to cultivate the relationship with his father, the late Emperor Doriam, who consistently refused to believe anything bad about his cherished son. The citizens of Kor-Azor, accustomed to Doriam’s benevolent, fatherly rule, were already trembling at the thought of what their new master might get up to - for a very good reason.(1)

However, as the news of the Heir's excesses were starting to spread, his actions caught the interest of the Speakers of Truth (2) - an ancient religious organization originally founded to keep the imperial and royal power in check, dating back to the very founding days of the Amarr Empire. Narrowly stopping the Heir's vindicative action against local Holders in Liparer system (3), Brother Joshua of the Speakers faced the Heir himself, condemning the Heir to the old Amarr eye-for-an-eye style retribution. Even when the Heir's royal position in the Amarr society would mean that instead of equal punishment he would need to shed but a small amount of tissue, the sheer amount of people crying for justice would mean that the Heir would be ripped into shreds. On the suggestion of the Heir's advisors, the punishment was allowed to happen over time, with the Heir's unclonable body regenerated after each session of flaying (4).

After the punishement, the Heir emerged as a new person, dedicated to keep his people from being unhappy of his rule. Uncontent to let his new direction be filtered through successive levels of bureaucracy, the Heir set to visit the systems under his rule in person.(5) This new direction made Empress Jamyl to nominate Aritcio as her Imperial Chancellor (6), bestowing the Heir with greater power and greater responsibilities to pursue his goals."

I've taken the liberty of fixing some spelling and punctuation errors in the above. In particular it's "Aritcio", not "Articio" (some older material uses the latter spelling, but I've only seen the former recently). BTW, I feel CCP is missing the point of a wiki by locking it down like this... Ibeau Renoir 02:40, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

Links Update?

Can we get someone with edit access to update the broken links? and by means other than a redirect? Whoever add the links did so poorly and did not follow the naming convention. I found these from the "Wanted" page. --Dex Nederland 05:46, 28 June 2009 (GMT)
