Ship probing is too hard/long

"This is mostly due to having to move the 4 probes independently" Using shift while moving probes/resizing speeds up the process.

"and the low radius probes don't cover its location anymore. " A single probe set a 0.5 au or two probes set at 1.0 au are able to pick up a ship in space without need to triangulate. Only useful at known locations however, such as stations, belts, etc.

"Also, some ships are reportedly impossible to probe down even with probes set at 0.25 AU." Only core probes are capable of 0.25 au, minimum range of combat probes is 0.5 au. Core probes cannot scan ships. --Jellygoop 15:53, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

Directional Scanner Reduced Functionality

"The directional scanner used to have a contextual menu associated with the results" Currently in Sisi this functionality has been put back in. Hopefully a patch will come soon. --Jellygoop 15:53, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

This article is 90% opinions and 10% facts...

A good wiki article doesn't contain personal opinions, but only facts. This one has less facts than opinions, and therefore, should be removed or merged with the official Apocrypha Probing article.

This is a duplicate... --Kaylan Jahlar 15:07, 11 June 2009 (GMT)
