Alliance Description

Where we began

Elite Trade Group was created by Lazy Man Inc on the 1st January 2008. Lazy Man Inc wanted to further it's progression by making friends with like minded Corporations. The second Corporation to join was Cosmic Cimmerians, this turned out to be a great combination, as Elite Trade Group has grown and become a force of it's own by the leadership of these 2 Corporations.

The Alliance was created by the founder of Lazy Man Inc, Calberin who has since resigned from the Corporation to find new ISK making areas in EvE Online. His predecessor Rauderberg has been in control ever since, Rauderberg is the Executor of Elite Trade Group and with his hand picked leaders Elite Trade Group makes it's way in the EvE Universe.

Where we are going

Elite Trade Group is like most EvE Alliance and has many goals it would like to achieve. We have a low sec home in Genesis that we fight for with vigour. We also have a lot of High Sec Industrials that keep the wheels turning for our huge growth in the future. Elite Trade Group has a very good PvP wing that will defend the Alliance with everything it has in reserves.

Elite Trade Group does have an ultimate goal to move to 0.0 in the future, however this is not a move we want to rush in to. We as an alliance still have much to learn and we want the 0.0 move to be permanent, so we will take our time and move when the time is right.

Brief History

Humble Beginnings

Elite Trade Group was born out of curiosity, Lazy Man Inc was a small corporation. The corporation was made up of a very small group of real life friends, who then decided to start recruiting others. Recruiting primarily Australians, as this is where most players were based. After a few weeks of recruiting Lazy Man Inc had grown substantially, in fact it had quadrupled in size. Calberin being a great CEO was always thinking of bigger things. He decided it was time to train to create an alliance.

Lazy Man Inc was making friends in the meantime while Calberin was training the necessary skills. Also while the skills were in training everyone in Lazy Man Inc were working very hard to make the 1 Billion ISK to pay for the alliance creation. This was good because while working for the ISK Lazy Man Inc made friends with Cosmic Cimmerians a small but potentially powerful PvP corporation. The relationship between these 2 corporations grew stronger over a month or two.

With the skills completed Elite Trade Group was born and Lazy Man Inc invited Cosmic Cimmerians to join the alliance. This is where it all began and discussions then started on moving to Low Sec space to see if we had what it took to survive. Elite Trade Group started recruiting other corporations and moved to low sec to try some POS management.....

First Low Sec

Lazy Man Inc was primarily a high sec mining and Mission running Corporation, so to say low sec was an eye opener would be an understatement. With the help of Cosmic Cimmerians Elite Trade Group picked its new low sec area and started to erect a number of POS's. The space we had chosen was in a 0.2 system called Indregulle, we soon found out we had some tough neighbours. On one side we had Invicta. and on the other side were The Athiest Syndicate. For the most part we did not even appear on Invicta. radar, but The Athiest Syndicate were using our new low sec pilots as cannon fodder.

Living around these two Corporations was tough, but our pilots had a crash course in PvP and we learnt a lot in a short time. But as The Athiest Syndicate grew and got better they started to become a real problem for our rookie members. So after about 3 Months in Indregulle we started to look for a new home. We extracted all Alliance POS's and made a large move to the Genesis region where we still remain to this day.

New Home

We moved to the Genesis region sometime in early March 2008, it was a very nice and quiet area. Compared to the constant raids from The Athiest Syndicate in our previous low sec area. This place was heaven, even with the small skirmishes we were having with some of the locals. We were home at last and made a claim on 5 low sec empire systems. We then started to secure the area with an NBSI policy; this was tough because we only had a small PvP wing at this stage. We then met our new neighbours Chain of Chaos.

Recruitment

Elite Trade Group recruitment is currently closed.

Important Notes
Elite Trade Group is currently on hold, this is due to members wanting to try new things in EvE Online. Elite Trade Group will remain open in stand by mode, the alliance may be used again in the future.
