Dominix (Fitting)
The Dominix is a cheap, reliable Gallente battleship, and is the largest drone ship most Gallente pilots will ever use. It is commonly used for PvE combat, being cheap and easy to fit out reliably, though it has seen less PvP use since the Nos nerf made the "Nos Domi" (using the other guy's cap to run your tank) setup impractical.

Player vs Environment fits
Salvage fit
High Slots:
- 1x any Civilian gun (to draw aggro)
- 2x Salvager I
- 2x Small Tractor Beam I
- 1x Drone Link Augmentor I
Medium Slots:
Low Slots:
Rig Slots:
This fit is intended for level 3-4 missions primarily. It has a fully L4-capable tank that will run forever and can salvage as it fights. It doesn't do as much DPS as some fits, but overall mission time will often be faster with this, since you don't have to come back and salvage afterwards. Whether this or the next fit is preferred is a matter of personal preference.
Medium gun fit

Medium Slots:
Low Slots:
Rig Slots:
This fit is also intended for level 3-4 missions, and is effectively the same as the above fit in most regards. It does more DPS, but you'll have to come back afterwards and salvage. Which is better is mostly a matter of personal preference. Note that the choice of railguns is completely arbitrary - artillery and beam lasers work just as well, though the latter may be hard on the capacitor.
Heavy gun fit
High Slots
Mid Slots
Low Slots
- 1x Large Armor Repairer II
- 1x Medium Armor Repairer II
- 4x Mission Specific Hardeners
- 1x Magnetic Field Stabilizer II
Rig Slots
This fit is intended strictly for level 4 missions, where the greater reach and damage of large guns against battleship/battlecruiser sized targets is more valuable than a medium gun's ability to track smaller targets. This leaves drones as the ship's only method of dealing with close-in small targets, which is obviously not an issue with the Domi's drone capabilities. This fit has sufficient capacitor to run the large repper indefinitely, plus either the guns or medium repper depending on the situation.
Player vs Player fits
With its primary damage output based on Drones, the Dominix is one of the most flexible ships when it comes to loading out the high slots. There are various ways to get the most out of the Dominix, with anything from smartbombs to super-high damage output available to pilots of this powerful warship.
Neutralizer Dominix
Heavy Energy Neutralizers provide a powerful advantage on the battlefield. Without capacitor energy, a great many ships are rendered incapable of sustaining their tank or firing their weapons, depending on the fitting and weapons load out. The heavy armor buffer provides the endurance your ship needs to out last your opponent's tank until their energy reserves finally give out, allowing you to move in for the killing blow. The Electronic Counter-Counter Measures provide some safety against the likes of the Falcon and other electronic warfare boats.
High Slots:
Mid Slots:
- 1x Quad LiF Fueled I Booster Rockets
- 1x Warp Disruptor II
- 1x Stasis Webifier II
- 1x Heavy Capacitor Booster II, Cap Booster 800
- 1x ECCM - Magnetometric II
Low Slots:
- 1x Large Armor Repairer II
- 2x 1600mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I
- 1x Armor Explosive Hardener II
- 2x Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II
- 1x Damage Control II
Rigs:
The Drone loadout is an important feature of the Dominix as well. Tech II heavy drones, such as the Ogre II and Berserker II provide potent damage output. Sentry Drones are useful for hitting at long range as well as for their high damage output. A compliment of Medium, Light, and Electronic Warfare drones are recommended for other, potentially sticky situations. Ultimately, it is up to the skills and discretion of the pilot to decide which compliment of drones is right for them.
