Burning Grass
Gefahrlich ist wer Schmerzen kennt
vom Feuer das den Geist verbrennt
Ancient song from Mother Earth.
Close your eyes, young Warriors. Smell the smoke in the winds.
REMEMBER!
Who we are, And who we were, Before Dragons and ashes, Before Night-Day came…
Before Night-Day Grass and Green and Forest were everywhere, as far as you could walk and farther still. Winds were clear before Night-Day.
Our Brothers roamed free.
Ie-hai!
FREE!
Sun was high yet Night came. Night came, and Dragons came. Winds filled with smoke and ashes, and everything burned.
Burned to ashes.
Hai-ya!
BURNED!
Grass and Green and Forest and Brothers… all of them burned. Winds cleared the smoke: gone were the Dragons. And all gone with them.
Gone…
Gone!
ALL GONE WITH THEM!!
Green was gone… Torched! Grass was gone… Burned! Brothers were gone… Taken!
Ye-aaargh!
TAKEN AS SLAVES!
Burned… Gone… Taken…
They haven’t returned.
Yeah-ai!
THEY HAVEN’T RETURNED!
Sun won’t fool you, young Warriors. Smell the smoke in the winds.
The grass is still burning!
It’s Night-Day, still.
