Summary
Make assembly arrays better. We already have many POS, where the applications for an assembly array are fairly small, meaning people use public slots.
The ship arrays are largely fine, but the equipment arrays are unbalanced.
Either you use a rapid one with 5 slots but a very harsh 1.1 material multiplier or you use the efficient, but you will need 5 arrays in order to make up for the just 1 slot per array.
This means there is no middle way for people to move production into a POS without either
- Having to set up a stupid amount of arrays (Logistical nightmare)
- Have a material multiplier of 1.1, which is not always viable
Potential Solutions
- Create some new assembly arrays which make more sense to use. Wider range, maybe specialized type of arrays to a larger degree than already present?
- Or add more slots to the efficient arrays in order to make it more viable to use.
