Armoured Core 1000 is a alliance based in a WH-system. It was founded in 2010 by the WATCHMAN 1000 corporation, which in turn was created by lordvirus1234.
In mid-2011, Armoured Core 1000 began recruiting more corporations into the alliance, including TAW Exploration Ltd and
Expansion
On the 23rd of September, 2011, Armoured Core 1000 began a large scale scanning operation for suitable wormholes. Over 100 wormholes were scanned, until one was finally found. A covert operations frigate was deployed to the WH-system for 2 hours, where upon it found a 3-man corporation with a POS set up. It appeared that the corporation was not going to return, and therefore the alliance made a push into the system, setting up a Control Tower in the system. Shortly after, several defence systems were set up, and other POS modules, including a ship maintenance array.
No combat incidents (or any sort of contacts) have been reported with the other corporation that appeared to be in the system. It is possible that they have completely left the system, and took their POS with them.
Recent History
On the 24th of September, 2011, 2 wormholes were discovered in-system by a scanning frigate, one leading to another WH-system, already occupied, and another leading to a deep low-sec system. Also on the 24th of december, it was discovered that the corporation that was believed to have abandoned the system was spotted. One member was flying a ship equiped with bombs and a cloak, and was around the 5th Planet in the system, where upon two members of Armoured Core 1000 warped to him. It appears that a shot was fired. For most of the night, members of Armoured Core 1000 sat cloaked outside the POS, watching the enemy undock ships from the hanger. The enemy then warped to Armoured Core 1000's POS, and the 2 ships monitoring the enemy POS warping to their own POS to defend it if nessesary. While uncloaking, a Armoured Core 1000 ship was hit and its shields taken down by a defence turret as it warped away. Several attempts were made to draw the enemy out, and force him to uncloak. This "baiting" led to the destruction of one of Armoured Core 1000's ships when a frigate outside of the shields was destroyed by a malfunctioning turret, which saw the frigate launching probes as a threat.
