| Content | As Operation Trinity continues in class four w-space, our scientific analysis has led to several interesting observations. These observations have been shaped into a coherent hypothesis, regarding the use of Trinary data by the Sleepers, the Jovians, and the possible fate of Lianda Burreau.
The original objective of Operation Trinity was to confirm or deny the Project Trinity Hypothesis, namely, whether Jovian trinary data patterns were similar to Sleeper trinary data patterns. To this end, Moira's Trinary Data fragment was compared with signatures collected from a Sleeper Trinary Hub in class four space. Moira's preliminary Operation Trinity report is available here, for further review. However, following the completion of the original objective, Moira has been interested in pursuing an additional and more comprehensive investigation of w-space, and creating a hypothesis for the present situation regarding the Sleepers, the Jovians, possibly the Sansha incursions as of late, though this is a private corporate interest than an official interest of the Project. The purpose of this document is to provide the observations that Moira has collected over the past month, and then the synthesis of these observations into a new, General Trinity Hypothesis. Observation one: Dichotomy of Trinary and Digital datastructures, as evidenced in Class Four space. Class four space contains two specific varities of installations discoverable on the RADAR EM band. These facilities, the Trinary hub, and Digital Nexus, provide an insight into Sleeper data storage protocols and culture. Specifically, the Trinary Hub appears to be a Sleeper datanetwork assembled around an abandoned Talocan Polestar, a massive mobile station used by their civilization during migrations. No trace of the Talocan remained besides their Cruiser and the polestar itself. No corpses. No DNA fragments, no other advanced technology. The Sleeper Digital Nexus is a distinctly Sleeper facility, centered around an Enclave and concentric rings and thermoelectric converters. This facility is like many other Sleeper sites, however, it has databases attached to the rings which might be compromised through concentrated hacking attempts. The differentiation between Trinary, a base three datatype, and the Digital, a base ten datatype, appears to be related to the Talocan and Sleeper relationship themselves. The Talocan, a distinctly biological people, which no advanced information technology, are associated with the Trinary, whereas the Sleepers, a society consisting perhaps entirely of infomorphs, the digital. Observation Two: The Lianda Burreau Helios, the Trinary Data, and the Awakened Infomorph This past month, Lianda Burreau's Helios was accidentally destroyed by a capsuleer reconnaissance pilot in class six space. This vessel contained a fragment of Trinary Data, an item previously believed to be entirely limited to use by the Jove Empire. Lianda Burreau's corpse was not found within the wreck, nor was there any other trace of her at the scene of the incident. Subsequent to the destruction of Lianda Burreau's Helios, at a Sansha Incursion at New Caldari, an Awakened Infomorph appeared and harassed Aria Jenneth, a pilot responding to the Sansha invasion. This Awakened appeared to possess capabilities to manipulate spacetime, including effectively teleporting Ms. Jenneth's craft to and fro. The Awakened did not respond to additional requests for information beyond a negative response to a request for assistance. An investigation of the Awakened's genetic background and bonestructure appears to be a positive match to that of Lianda Burreau, the Professor attached to the CreoDron project to investigate the Sleeper civilization almost three years ago. The fact this Awakened appeared only after the Helios, and its attendant Trinary data, were destroyed, means that the Trinary data itself was perhaps significant to the timing of the event. The fact that there was no trace of Lianda's original body, also lends credence to the significance of the Data. Lianda's Helios was destroyed on or around 7.14, the Awakened was formed on the CONCORD pilot registry at at 7.20, and was seen at New Caldari in the following days. It would stand to reason that if Lianda had been transferred from the Helios and made a Sleeper agent, then she would have been deployed earleir in the Sansha conflict, or at minimum, been sent to normal space as the Awakened at an earlier date, than the engagement at New Caldari. The destruction of the Trinary Data in the Helios appears to have a causal relationship to the formation of the Awakened. Observation Three: The original source of the Moira Trinary Data, the Jovians, and their technology During the Admiral Ouria incident in the Stain region in YC 105, Ouria's Eidolon-class Battleship, the pinnacle of Jovian military technology, was destroyed by overwhelming capsuleer forces, although at high cost to the capsuleers involved. The result was the acquisition and dissemination of several unusual pieces of technology from the wreck of the ship, including Trinary Data fragments. One of these Trinary Data fragments came into Moira possession through the assets of one of our members. This fragment is of significant historical relevence, however, it was the cornerstone for Moira's investigation of the Trinary Hub facility, to confirm or deny the Project Trinity Hypothesis, namely, whether Jovian trinary data patterns were similar to Sleeper trinary data patterns. The significance of the Eidolon having these fragments can't be underscored enough. The Jovian ships are almost biological in nature. They use a minimum of crew, as per the limited population capacity of the Jove Empire to crew their ships, and replace many functions through capsuleer interfaces. It remains unclear how the Jovians are able to manage the operation of their vessels with almost completely removing the need of any crew whatsoever, however, the Trinary Data found on Ouria's Eidolon, might play a key, functional role. The General Trinity Hypothesis The three primary observations thus far outlined have been the association of Trinary data with the biological Talocan race, while the race itself has long vanished without a trace, the apparent substitution of Trinary Data in the place of Lianda Burreau in her Helios, and the use of Trinary Data on Jovian vessels such as the Eidolon, possibly to substitute the use of crew on their vessels, given their declining population and reliance on capsuleer technology. The General Trinity Hypothesis is this: That the use of Trinary data is indeed similar between the Jovians and the sleepers, and is related directly to the conversion of a human being into an infomorph state for permanent storage, information cloning, modification, and transmission. Indeed, it appears likely that the Sleepers did as much with Lianda Burreau, converting her to Trinary format, then preserving her in the void of space until her later discovery and destruction. Through standard cloning procedures, the trinary data was scanned and transmited through fluid router to her contracted clone bay, generating her body, but with the new Sleeper-modified conciousness. The fact the cloning procedures operated normally with trinary data was likely a sideeffect of the Jovian influence in the capsule design, allowing it to interface with these forms of datastructures. Furthermore, it seems probable that the Sleepers 'trinarized' the Talocan civilization for integration into their society, or permanent archival, to prevent the "Infection" referenced in Class Five systems from destroying them entirely. Doing so consumed all of their genetic material, preventing our exploration teams from finding significant evidence of them during our extensive operations. Perhaps one of the most intriguing insights into Sleeper civilization is the Mirror, a variety of complex located in Class six space. Resembling a massive spacestation, these installations include compartmentalized enclaves with specific functionality, the specifics of which have been provided on the public database. It is important to note all of these Enclaves are information networks, not designed to be used by humanoids in the traditional sense. Thus, their functionality must be interpreted in a similar manner. While the Habitation Conduits have windows for standard humanoids to use, the Enclaves are not designed with these considerations in mind. Of specific interest to the General Trinity Hypothesis is the "Virtual Genetics" Enclave. This facility has six specific sub-sections, each related to the broader field of Virtual Genetics. 1.0 Neurodegenerative Case Studies The use of the term 'virtual genetics' is a curious one, as the standard understanding of a properly digitized or 'uploaded' conciousness is that the brain's functions are emulated by the hardware technology that house the 'software' of the conciousness. The underlying genetic code of the body of the previous host of that conciousness is discarded as useless information to the preservation and proper operation of the conciousness. However, if the General Trinity Hypothesis is true, then the Virtual Genetics section makes a great deal more sense. The possibility that the entirety of the human being has been converted to raw trinary data, for storage, manipulation, and analysis, would require the functionality presented to us in the Virgual Genetics Enclave. In such a trinary format, the DNA of the host would be preserved, this allowing for the 'mutation' of the underlying code of the host, and the manipulation of it for to positive ends, as in the possible treatment of a disease. The term 'bioinformatics' is equally tantalizing, showing the direct link between the biological format, and the information format. Another subsection, of the Theoretical Genetics enclave, is "4.0 Datagenesis Procedures". This title indicates the procedural genesis, IE, generation, of data from a biological substrate. That is, the conversion of a physical thing, into a thing of information. Thus, it appears that the Sleepers do have the technological capacity to execute the operations predicted under the General Trinity Hypothesis. The remainder of our investigation lies towards whether or not the Jovians use similar technology, and what possible implications this may have for our understanding of various anomalous activities by third parties in w-space, namely the Amarr Empire, and the Sansha.
