Formation - We R Who We R!

Nulli Secunda [S2N] was formed in August of 2010 by a collection of former Gentleman's Club and Cult of War corporations after the failure of those alliances. Formed by Progodlegend and the 101st Space Marine Force, S2N was granted the LI-BA0 constellation in the Querious region by IT Alliance and entry into their coalition.

The alliance was small at first, consisting of just over four hundred members and an unhealthy obsession with Ke$ha. The early S2N operations consisted of small 20 man roams to the Providence/Catch region which fueled their initial PvP culture.

S2N was formed as a PvP alliance, based around pilot skill, excellent FCing, and strict fleet compositions. Despite being small, these values allowed S2N to have success through its early days as the alliance slowly grew. The collapse of Atlas mark 1 provided S2N with several new member corps, swelling their ranks with old allies and new faces alike.

A little over two months into the alliance, S2N deployed to Providence which at the time was a hotbed of conflict as CVA struggled to regain control from the coalition of alliances that Against All Authorities had installed in the region after their conquest earlier that year. Providence was also home to the reformed Mercenary Coalition, and Pandemic Legion forces in nearby lowsec.

The three week deployment was an excellent early test of the alliance, and despite relatively small numbers, CVA bloc and S2N managed to win many fights against the "squatters", as they were known, as well as as few victories against MC and PL. However, S2N later went home as pilot wallets dried up and events elsewhere dictated a return.

Querious and The Forever War

While S2N had several setbacks, such as cornerstone corp MMMS leaving, the alliance had continued to grow at a steady rate, proving its detractors wrong. The stability and growth of the alliance had not gone unnoticed by IT, which rewarded S2N with more systems and several moons.

Events in the cluster would soon dictate a long period of warfare away from S2N's cornerstone roaming. In the east, the -A- block, lead by Makalu Zayra and Tek Enethru, were pushing hard into fethaybolis for their reconquesta. INIT allies, Dead Terrorists and Circle of Two, were being hit hard by the resurgent south. INIT, tired of grinding structures and without PL, sat in Catch consolidating and resting.

In the west, a resurgent and tech-wealthy GSF with new Reddit allies Test Alliance Please Ignore were done napping on the Dekelin couch and had begun laying siege to IT allies based in Fountain.

With the IT bloc under serious pressure on two fronts, S2N was ordered to deploy to 68FT in Impass. Dead Terrorists had cascaded under -A- block pressure, and INIT had finally deployed to help prop up Circle of Two in Impass. S2N arrived and began to join INIT fleets. The fleets were well organized and well lead, but suffered loss after loss to the drake blob of -A- block. The crippling lag of the servers, combined with the turret bugs of the time and a poor fleet concept, ahac's, lead INIT and allies to suffer defeat after defeat despite their best efforts.

Eventually -A- bloc laid siege to 68FT itself. Despite the valiant effort of INIT and friends, the system fell to the drake blob of -A- and allies. After the fall of 68FT, INIT withdrew to Catch and S2N returned home to Querious. After a short break home in Querious, S2N deployed to Period Basis with IT ally SYS-K in order to put pressure on ROL by attacking Paragon Soul.

The deployment with SYS-K was largely uneventful. Both alliances at the time lacked the strategic talent and coordination needed to run campaign of that scale. Despite this, several victories were had including the destruction of a ROL Nyx and the conquest of several moons.

Meanwhile, IT had deployed their entire capital and supercapital force to GE- in order to help INIT which had already lost some systems in Catch to -A- bloc. -A- wisely pulled back the reigns on their offensive, knowing they could not compete with the supercapital supremacy of a combined INIT and IT force. As the -A- offensive slowed to a halt, GSF and allies had continued to drive hard into Fountain, successfully attacking and taking PNQ, the home system of IT allies in Fountain. As IT allies faltered, IT made the strategic blunder to pull their supercapital fleet back to Fountain to reinforce the defense. This decision essentially meant that IT had chosen to defend alliances like Blast, Blade, and Talos instead of INIT.

With this decision, S2N deployed to Hophib, a low sec system a few jumps out of Fountain to aid in the defense of Fountain. Heavy fighting continued for weeks as a stalemate/seasaw battle raged in the region. S2N pilots fought well, but eventually grew tired and poor. In light of the stalemate, S2N made the decision to return home to Querious to rest and regroup. In nearby IT Querious systems, the newly formed Khanid Coalition was pushing into IT space.

While resting and grinding ISK, S2N defended the IT station system of A2 several times against the Khanid coalition, resulting in some of the most lopsided victories of S2N's existence. A2 was saved several times and the enemy fleets destroyed again and again. But while S2N was having success, -A- bloc was pushing hard into Catch and GSF were slowly making progress in Fountain.

S2N returned to Hophib a second time, just days before the famous hellcamp of 6VDT, IT's new staging system. The strategic choice to base in a lowsec station instead of a conquerable nullsec station saved S2N the bulk of the eventual asset losses.

Days after returning to Hophib, the GSF and their allies began the 23/7 hellcamp of 6VDT. Hundreds of northern pilots sat in POS and bubbles and local was filled with the greatest amount of spam. IT's internal and viral structural problems had already made themselves evident with the departure of two supercapital-heavy powerhouse IT corps, X13 and Finfleet. IT command seemed unable to organize any sort of serious breakout attempt. IT coalition pilots waited day after day in station and on IRC waiting for a op that never came, reminiscent of PR- in Delve War II. GSF got one of their only fights of the hellcamp when 70 S2N LR HAC's jumped into the hellstorm, taking on 600 enemy pilots as S2N dodged and sniped. That little action, when IT refused to fight, got S2N much of its early respect in the wider eve community.

Eventually, 6VDT fell not with a bang, but a whimper. While S2N had been deployed to Hophib, its home in Querious had fallen victim to a siege by -A- allies, the newly reformed Atlas. alliance. S2N had chosen to stay with IT and let its home systems fall. After the fall of 6VDT, S2N returned home and evacuated all assets, unable to defend against superior enemy forces. In Catch, INIT was fighting a loosing battle against -A- bloc and would soon loose their space against the same enemy they had originally evicted, setting the stage for what is widely considered to be one of the greatest comebacks in eve history.

Not long after, IT began to failcascade and S2N issued a standings reset. A new chapter ad begun.

Period Basis and -A- Bloc

During the Forever War conflict, S2N leadership had been approached several times by -A- leadership, offering S2N the option of switching sides. S2N refused out of loyalty, but with IT dying and reset, S2N agreed to join the coalition.

S2N moved to Period Basis and began taking two constellations from the already dying SYS-K alliance. After two weeks the new space was secured and S2N set up shop, began making ISK and growing.

The first few weeks in Period Basis was a time of relative calm, and allowed S2N to accept new member corporations, focus on its internal leadership and fleet concepts, and recover from the previous several months of coalition level warfare.

During this time the war in the north was heating up. The NC's hubris in attacking the drone regions had lead the previously unaligned Drone Russians to blue up and create a new coalition, the Drone Region (Russian) Forces or DRF. The DRF defended against the north with great vigor, eventually stopping the offensive completely and launched their own into Geminate.

Pandemic Legion, having finally been (temporarily) blobbed out of the north, went on "vacation" to Delve, generally to cause havoc and secure valuable neodymium moons. -A- block had been trying to secure Delve for themselves, and the arrival of PL in KEE started off a new conflict.

PL had already developed a counter to -A-'s famed drake blob, and with the gun bug fixed, they created the now famous abbadon hellcat. With 70km scorch range, active hardeners, and backed by archon triage, 100 or so PL consistently took on 300-400 -A- bloc. Every other day, S2N would form in drakes, bridge down to Delve and join the fleets against PL. Time after time, the powerful scorch and excellent cohesion of PL fleets downed the drake blob.

Eventually, with alpha being fully integrated into the game, -A- started to bring ~60 alpha tempests to the fray. S2N FC's were often leading this wing, and proper use of the wing combined with overwhelming drakes started to defeat PL. However, every time PL would start loosing, tracking titans would be dropped. FC's would be doomsdayed, and drakes and battleships would be blapped.

Only a few victories were gained against PL, and for the two months PL was in delve, neodymium moons were milked by PL. Finally, PL left Delve to go north and join the raging war against the Northern Coalition. For S2N's help against PL, -A- granted S2N a delve constellation.

It was White Noise and Uaxdeath that had originally encouraged INIT to turn on post-Evil Thug -A- and had provided the funds to hire Pandemic Legion against them. This did not go unnoticed by -A- leadership, and in April their own offensive was launched against the southern holdings of the DRF as they fought in the northern front.

S2N did not participate in this campaign, instead focusing on Delve. Several fights were had against TEST and friends, which were taking the western portion of Delve. These fights were excellent for S2N, as it often fought outnumbered but through superior tactics and fleet concepts managed to win against the newly formed CFC which was becoming increasingly seen as independent from the Northern Coalition. Eventually, the CFC secured their delve holdings as there was never any serious contest by -A- bloc to prevent CFC from taking western Delve. Eventually, Gentleman's Agreement, TEST, and Convicted would all hold space in Delve, creating the now infamous thunderdome.

The End of an Era, S2N goes mainstream

A late S2N deployment to the north to attack tech moons in hopes of helping the Northern Coalition failed as its rotten bloat finally was cleavered by the DRF and its allies. The Northern Coalition, once considered invincible by many, had finally fallen, its remnants scattered to the wind or incorporated into the CFC lead by The Mittani and the GSF.

As the DRF and its allies consolidated their new holdings, the eve community watched with great interest at where the NC refugees who weren't absorbed into the CFC would go. S2N had already taken the responsibility of Delve watchdog within the southern bloc, aided by Vera Cruz, a Brazilian alliance in Period Basis, and Hun Reloaded, the famous PvP Hungarian alliance of old.

It wasn't long before Morsus Mihi declared that they would be headed to Delve, in order to find the elusive "good fights" and reform their alliance as a pvp powerhouse. Joining them was Brick Squad., which tripled in size with northern refugees. The newly dubbed "Refugee Coalition" declared that sov was not a goal, but S2N watched with wary eyes at the unwelcome interlopers.

It wasn't long before MM and Brick TCU's began popping up in systems. With MM's reputation proceeding them, S2N and its allies launched a campaign against MM to deny them sovereignty. S2N had grown large by then, and with its allies the fight raged in both the EU and US TZ's. Early on, MM used abbadons to try and fight, but they were defeated on the field multiple times. Soon MM and company switched to their bomber and LR BC concept and fighting raged for weeks.

The fighting in Delve was small and largely a sideshow compared to other conflicts, but it was a conflict devoid of supercapital drops as both sides had equal numbers of supers and neither wished risking them in a fight they could not win. The war continued for two months. Most fights went to the S2N side, but MM/Brick. gained victories and systems too. S2N was unable to remove all sovereignty, but MM/Brick were unable to gain any new sovereignty as the war neared its conclusion.

The CFC soon withdrew from Delve and BORG collapsed, and MM/Brick gained some of the vacated space. A ten hour operation by S2N secured former convicted space and put many MM/Brick starbases and systems into reinforced. Events would dictate that the conclusion of this operation would never be known. A deal was struck between MM and -A- that created a NAP and freed S2N/Cascade and its allies to deploy to assist -A- against the upcoming DRF invasion.

After resting for a period of time, the DRF took T-R in providence and built a outpost there. Uaxdeath and the DRF were ready to exact their revenge on -A- bloc, and another war was in the making.

The war against the Refugee Coalition solidified S2N's reputation as a major power in the eve community and the first time S2N's name was commonly mentioned on eve forums and discussions. A new alliance had stonewalled former NC fat with tech ISK that had heavily outnumbered them. Soon S2N would face a larger challenge.

Catch War, Stain Lethargy and Resurgence

S2N soon arrived in GE- and the entire coalition adopted a S2N fleet concept. It wasn't long before DRF launched their attack on HED-GP and the war was on. Fighting in HED lasted about two weeks. In the RU timezone, the DRF had dominance and would continually take down the cyno jammer in HED. With overwhelming supercapital numbers, the jammer would need to stay online to give the -A- bloc any sort of chance. -A- would set their timers for deep USTZ and the US crew would re-online the jammer, rep sov structures, and kill SBU's. For the first little while, the DRF could only manage 100 man fleets in the USTZ which were quickly destroyed by coalition forces. It was only a matter of time until the DRF alarm clocked, and with supers already logged in system from the jammer-less RU TZ, the DRF successfully alarm clocked twice and won both times. This resulted in the loss of HED and -A-'s first ever titan loss, which was probed and destroyed in a safespot immediately after log-in, a NC. pilot having probed down the safe the previous night when the MVN pilot had logged. During the war Stain Empire and Coven had also reset -A-, which was a hit to the coalition and morale.

GE- was lost in much of the same manner. Without jammers, the coalition had no hope of competing with the massive supercapital blob of the DRF, especially after Raiden. had joined the campaign. With the loss of GE-, the coalition withdrew to Stain, and -A- prepared for another long grind to retake space, having already accomplished it once before. The defense of Catch had largely been half-hearted to begin with, and it was rumored that SE and several -A- Russians had wanted -A- space to fall to recapture the magic of the previous reconquest. Whether or not those rumors were true, -A- pulled back to LGK and dug in.

S2N followed -A- back to Stain and alliance activity levels plummeted. With the normal summer inactivity at its height- and the majority of senior S2N FC's AFK, very few S2N ops were run and most pilots returned to Period Basis on their own. Tired of dying to supers, the pilots either went AFK themselves or returned home. Eventually S2N FC's began to return from AFK and a return home was ordered.

A incursion in the home S2N constellation provided a nice catalyst for a return to activity and a way to replenish depleted wallets. S2N went back to basics, and in the east, the DRF ran out of steam before they even finished taking the rest of Catch, Impass, or Feyth from -A- and friends.

Omist and the South

In November of 2011 -A- and the southern coalition shifted focus away from retaking lost territory in Catch and instead focused on hammering Red Alliance in Omist and Tenerifis. The White Noise supercapital fleet made progress in Catch impossible but HED-GP and GE- were multiple super jumps away from Omist and Tenerfis making WN reinforcement difficult.

S2N was offered space in Omist and using ROL jump bridges began to attend the ops against Red Alliance by -A-, ROL, and Stainwagon. The early fights focused around Omist, with -A- and friends bringing battleship blobs and S2N supporting with smaller 50 man A-hac fleets due to the RA and friends artyabbadon fleets being low on web support. This combo proved effective and 66P and several other systems were successfully taken and multiple RA and allied fleets were destroyed. These victories sufficiently galvanized Red Alliance and White Noise. During important or final timers, Red Alliance would drop their supercapital fleet while having WN either bridge theirs over the multiple midpoints or have them on standby in Catch in case Red Alliance got in trouble.

Despite the supercapital advantage of WN and RA, the conflict continued with -A- block doing what they could to fight and harass RA. This resulted in a battle several hours before downtime in 66-P. Southern forces had managed to grind all the timers and were now guarding their onlining TCU against RA forces. Southern forces had been defending the TCU for hours and were down to just 50 or so subcaps when 150 RA and allies jumped in with ten supercarriers, fighting at the TCU POS. -A- FC's decided to escalate with their own supercapital force and dropped in two tracking titans to even the odds. The fight then became a race to see which sides support fleet was killed first. The power of the titans and the advantage of dipping into the POS shields meant that the fight swung in favor of the south, but there was still ten RA supers on the field. -A- Russians began logging in and a mad scramble to find a cyno began as -A- had 10 more supercaps ready to jump in. Finally, with the RA support fleet largely reduced to scrap and a cyno ready, -A- jumped in more supers and the south struggled to maintain tackle on the stricken enemy supercapital force. Three Red Alliance Nyxs died, though many more managed to jump to safety. The TCU onlined in the middle of the fight and 66-P had been secured by southern forces with as heavy toll on Red Alliance. However this was only a temporary victory in the wider war.

During the South's push on Omist, they were also being pressured elsewhere by the Curse Coalition, which consisted of primarily Initiative and Russian alliance Gypsy Band. Fighting a two front war helped to weaken RA, but RA suffered a critical blow when one morning, having jumped in their supercapital fleet, including ten tracking titans, the Curse Coalition countered with their own supercapital fleet, resulting in the destruction of seven RA titans and a few supercarriers. Aside from being a major financial blow to RA, it had the added effect of removing titans from the equation in the Southern front.

Since this was pre-cruciable and the supercap nerf, further Southern Coalition progress became impossible and the conflict settled down while -A- and friends waited for the patch. The patch swung the momentum back in favor of the South. White Noise, suffering from internal issues, deployed their supercapital fleet back north. Red Alliance and its allies were now left alone to face -A- and its friends, including -A- new tengufleet. Progress was swift and RA was unwilling to commit supers post-nerf. The conclusion of the conflict seemed forgone. S2N deployed to AXDX to help -A- better and the push began with a new intensity.

As always in Eve, unexpected events change tides and PL and NC. and TEST went south in order to screw with -A-. While the "Honey Badger Coalition" came down as a neutral force that also shot RA, on the field the Honey Badgers would always primary -A- first. Outnumbered and outgunned, progress ground to a halt and the Honey Badgers and Red Alliance began to take stations back from the South. S2N deployed back to Period Basis and -A- went north instead of fighting the superior enemy force.

Several weeks later, NC. and PL went back north once again leaving RA and its allies alone to face the South. Red Alliance also deployed north to assist the rotten corpse of White Noise against the CFC invasion. While -A- was fighting north, S2N resumed the offensive against Controlled Chaos, defeating them and retaking 66-P despite the declarations of CC FC's FUFFA and Sage Eveo that S2N would be stopped by CC.

With extreme pressure being placed on the Red Alliance allies, -A- came south again and pushed hard into Tenerfis and Detroid, taking the strategic station systems of 46DP and 77-S. Despite some defensive efforts of RA, they were defeated and the systems fell. CC capitulated and began its evacuation to the drone regions. The conquest of the South, after three months of heavy fighting, had been won for the moment.

On the first of February 2012 S2N leadership declared the campaign on Omist complete. The sovereignty in S2N's constellation in Omist had been secured, and with exception of a few POS towers, there was no more hostile presence. The Red Alliance and DRF presence in the regions of omist, tenerifis, and detorid had begun to fall back to other regions of 0.0 space, while -A- continued to take now uncontested systems from the heavily demoralized and battered Red Arrow Coalition.

FDZ Deployment

Eve politics shifted after the war as the CFC asserted itself and took Branch from a inactive White Noise. Soon after, the CFC would push on Raiden and with the south pacified, all the fighting was in the north.

After taking a short break, S2N and its allies decided to deploy north in order to keep lean and try and take a few tech moons. FDZ in Geminate was chosen for the deployment location. There were plenty of hostiles to fight, which included Intrepid Crossing, Controlled Chaos, Red Alliance, Raiden, Pandemic Legion and Northern Coalition. During this time S2N and friends also blued venal residents Black Legion in order to work with them.

Fighting in Geminate consisted of heavy roamings to Brick, Controlled Choas, and IRC space while Red Alliance and UPS tech towers were reinforced. During this period PL was on contract with XIX against Solar Fleet and NC. was assisting them. Thus, when RA and UPS towers came out, S2N and friends were faced with a combined RA/PL/NC. force. Several fights over tech towers occurred, with S2N fairing well in the subcapital brawls and managed to win a couple fights. However, any tech that was taken was quickly reinforced by NC./PL supercapital blob and was taken when they came out with the same supercapital blob. Eventually, all RA and UPS tech as taken over by PL or NC.

S2N switched focus to Venal and the surrounding regions hitting INIT or Evoke tech. However, the area was absolutely saturated with hostiles during the EU TZ, and Nulli was unable to take anymore tech. A week earlier, S2N allies Huns and Vera Cruz had already moved back to Delve and after three weeks of heavy fighting, and with events occurring in Period Basis, S2N moved back home to Delve.

Romanian Legion Eviction

Tensions between S2N and ATAK had been steadily rising over time since the rest in January. While S2N and allies were deployed north, and the rest of the coalition was fighting the remnants of the DRF and their hired help, ATAK continued to rat in Period Basis and caused issues with S2N ally Vera Cruz.

ATAK had launched a cloaky camping campaign against VCruz renters, which deprived Vera of income and forced their early return from Geminate. It also broke a deal that had been arranged between S2N and ATAK earlier in the year. Days before S2N returned home, ATAK had used two corporations in Period Basis to act as proxies for ATAK, giving them blue status and refugee in their stations even as they SBU'd TN-25, Vera's capital system. Just 24 hours later, the two proxy corporations were accepted into ATAK, capping a period of mass corporation recruitment that brought ATAK to nearly 2,000 members.

By constantly casing problems and failing to meaningfully contribute to the southern coalition, ATAK had lost the protection of -A- and S2N was green-lighted for an invasion of ATAK space. S2N and allies launched their attack on Sunday, bringing a record number of nearly 350 fleet members as all ATAK station systems were put into reinforced. What would have been a steamroll was made interesting when Stainwagon came to the aid of ATAK.

Fights over the station timers consisted of roughly even numbers, with ATAK flying heavy BC fleets, whether Teir 2 or Tier 3 BC's, and S2N fielded malestroms to counter. Stain Empire And C0ven would come in 40-70 man tengus fleets as well. ATAK would serve as a meatshield against Nulli forces while Stain would stay out of web range and hammer S2N and friends with missiles from far away. During the final TPAR I-hub timer, S2N and friends were forced off the field by the tengu fleet and ATAK and the hostiles went to work on the SBU's. However, S2N quickly reshipped and returned to TPAR before the SBU's could be destroyed, defeating the enemy in the second engagement and destroying the hub.

With all timers being continued TPAR station came out of final reinforced and S2N dominated the fight, having solved the tengu issue through use of triage and huggin webs. ATAK was annihilated and Stainwagon withdrew after suffering 10 or so tengu losses. With the fall of TPAR there was no more serious ATAK or Stainwagon resistance, S2N and allies having taken all station systems in seven days. All moons and remaining systems were cleaned up without resistance over the next week.

Despite proclamations of a forever war against S2N, ATAK withdrew to Stain where they have lost 75% of their memberbase.


Red Alliance Campaign

Red Alliance had been an integral part of the DRF and their war against the Southern Coalition. Bitterly fighting -A- and co for over a year, Red Alliance finally lost their once-vast empire as C-J fell. Days after the fall of C-J, Red Alliance announced they would be moving to Querious and Delve to try and take new holdings.

With Silent Dodger gone from the game, and new leadership in place in Red Alliance, -A- saw an opportunity to grow the coalition and recruit a large Russian TZ entity. Instead of opposing Red Alliance and Viking Empire's push into Querious, -A- went to their allies, primarily S2N and FAIL, and urged them to give up space so RA could be established. Both S2N and -A- originally agreed to the deal, with FAIL actually moving to Detroid and S2N and its allies having to give up constellations and moons that they had originally expected to take.

With the deal constantly changing deal from its original form, S2N felt it could no longer accept RA holdings in the area and pushed for war with Red Alliance. Despite direct negotiations between S2N and RA, and constant meditation from -A-, war was inevitable. -A- agreed to allow a inter-coalition war to occur after establishing some ground rules.

The war kicked off quickly and the first couple of days saw RA and friends win several fights against S2N and their allies. Quickly, S2N launched a counter-offensive and put several key systems into reinforced, including RA's staging systems. S2N regularly smashed RA abbadon fleets with Alpha fleet, and only the use of RA's supercapitals saved any systems. Over 500 abbadons were killed in a week.

RA managed to save their main staging system and were preparing to push back against S2N when Pandemic Legion announced a roadtrip to the region. Both sides were wary of the PL presence in the region but continued to battle. During the HM- final timer, RA bridged into HM- where they began a brawl with S2N subcapitals. PL, staging from KFIE had acquired RA's POS password and quickly bumped two titans out of the shields where they were subsequently dropped by PL herocats. Next door in HM-, the seriously reduced abbadon fleet quickly quit the field to save their titans. RA managed to save the bulk of their supers, but not before two titans had been destroyed, ironically enough the personal titans of both their exec and their main diplomat.

After this loss, RA stopped using supercapitals and fell back to Querious, effectively quitting the war. S2N began to slowly grind RA's Delve holdings.

Skirmishes against PL and TEST

While S2N had won the war, there was still a matter of grinding the space. With PL in the region, S2N declined to use their supers which made the structure grinding a dull and long task. PL used timers to engage S2N fleets on a regular basis. The fights were always close, especially with the "PL effect" reducing S2N fleet numbers. The fighting against PL lasted several weeks, with PL taking the majority of the fights and S2N winning a respectable amount.

The war was largely seen as fun PVP with no real consequence, but soon TEST came and joined PL in a re-establishment of the Honey Badgers. S2N could no longer count on their numbers to carry the fights, and PL also brought down their supers. Despite this, fights continued primarily over RA timers and no S2N space was hit, although neo moons were reinforced by both sides on a consistent basis.

While both sides enjoyed the fighting, the war was slowly, but inexorably escalating.

Escalation

As S2N and its allies had ceased to win fights, they declined to create anymore timers. After a time, PL and TEST responded by finally attacking S2N systems. It was not a full-scale invasion and not many systems were reinforced. However, one or two systems were being lost weekly, forcing S2N to call upon its allies in the SoCo.

-A- flew from GE-8 and for a couple of weeks the bleeding of S2N's systems stopped. However, encouraged by the prospect of even larger and bloodier fights, TEST and PL participation increased. The result of this increase was -A-'s deployed to Nulli Secunda's home system of C3N, which was the final spark of the wider war.

With the north secured under the OTEC pact, the CFC moved south to aid TEST in what would become a full-scale war. Likewise, -A- called in the rest of their allies, including INIT and RDN, and the stage was set for a massive war which gave practically every PvP pilot in eve a boner. The potential for the largest conflict since the fall of the northern coalition caught even the gaming websites attention.

Quickly, the prospect for a long, epic and bloody war ended. The CFC's well-oiled war machine quickly put the Soco's to shame. Massive numbers, PL FC's, great coordination and organization, and supercapital superiority meant that the SoCo barely even undocked. Indeed, the CFC launched their offensive, reinforcing a constellation's worth of space at a time, before RDN and INIT had fully deployed. The SoCo was paralyzed as arguments broke out over how to conduct the war. S2N and its allies wanted to fight, at least attempt to, while -A- wanted to harass and let the CFC's numbers burn themselves out against structures.

While the paralysis was occurring, constellations fell. Within three weeks, all of Delve had been lost, including S2N's home system of over a year. Only a few fights had occurred, all ending in defeat for the SoCo once tracking dreads covered by super fleets entered the field.

With S2N, Vera Cruz, and Hun Reloaded Delve space captured by the CFC, S2N saw no reason to continue the conflict in the south when the real wealth was in the north. -A- wanted to continue the war, and hoped the CFC would burn itself out. However, S2N had no desire to continue fighting alongside a coalition which it had so many disagreements and philosophical differences with. After more than a year and a half flying under -A-, S2N elected to leave the SoCo and embark on new adventures.

Faction Warfare and the North

Having withdrawn from Delve and the southern coalition, S2N elected to join the revamped faction warfare in order to rest FC's and fill depleted wallets with ISK. S2N also planned to fight alongside Black Legion against the CFC, as S2N had deployed within bridge range of much of the north. S2N participation in FW lasted a few weeks, but was also plagued with issues. With the OTEC agreement between the CFC and NC. broken, Nulli Secunda left FW and moved north to help a beleaguered NC. and Black Legion.

Expectations for the war with the CFC were high. Northern Coalition. had managed to assemble several alliances, among these were Black Legion, Intrepid Crossing, Retirement Club and Ev0ke. This force was seen at having a serious chance against the CFC in a sov war. In addition to fighting the CFC, the newly-dubbed DOTbros coalition was also attacked on a second front by SOLAR, eager for revenge over an earlier war regarding Geminate tech moons.

DOTbros quickly faced several issues. IRC never committed with serious numbers, reducing expected fleet size. In addition, Ev0ke decided to honor their OTEC agreement with the CFC, removing a large and competent EUTZ force. the CFC was able to dominate the EUTZ, and USTZ fights tended to swing. Tribute began to fall.

The fights against SOLAR went well enough, as Evoke defended in Geminate. Eventually all Geminate tech was in Dotbros hands. A few weeks into the war, NC. elected to try a new strategy, timing space to the AUTZ, where they had two very large and experienced corps that could defend the timers. This strategy seemed to work, as CFC AUTZ could not beat DOTbros. In addition, USTZ fleets lead by Elo Knight ensured that CFC forces could not mass-reinforce in that timezone, giving the AUTZ a manageable amount of timers to save. The state of affairs in the north lasted over a month, there were many fights, as well as a healthy number of CFC super ganks. S2N continued to help DOTbros fully, although numbers were lower than usual due to the normal period of fall inactivity and S2N FC's being busy.

While the northern war was raging, S2N clamored for fleets lead by its own FC's. Nulli Secunda announced a side-campaign in Detroid, which was held by Cascade Imminent. FAIL had been fighting against Gypsy Band allies Unthinkables and WHYSO for some time, and S2N was eager to get involved for good fights, as the north had developed into a stalemate. S2N used a titan chain to move south, and reinforced a few FAIL systems. A fight occurred over FAIL's staging system, resulting in a clear S2N/INK/WHYSO victory. Shortly thereafter, FAIL's leader, Archie, announced that FAIL would be folding. S2N suddenly found itself in possession of parts of Detroid as their spoils, but the good fights that had been expected eluded them.

The stalemate was finally broken after drama erupted between Nc. and Black Legion, leading to the latter's departure from the war. Without Elo as the main USTZ, the CFC began mass-reinforcing Tribute every day. The AUTZ quickly burn out, as The Mittani had ordered the CFC not to engage in that timezone, meaning the DOTbros could only rep and had no fights. The rest of Tribute fell shortly thereafter.

Near the end of the war, S2N activity had returned to full levels, and taking the respect earned and lessons learned, decided to move into the south-east in order to establish a new coalition.
