Overview

Arkons of Myth (RCON) is a player corporation in the EVE universe and a member of Initiative Associates alliance. Arkons is an active PVP/PVE corporation, with a smattering of industry. Pilots participate in roaming fleets within The Initiative's area of operations and work to weaken the enemy to strengthen themselves. Sources of income for the corporation include the sale of ships, construction components, and moon mining among other ventures.

Objectives

  • To accumulate space, wealth, and pilots who wish to further our cause.
  • To strengthen killboard to their highest levels.
  • To provide our pilots with an environment that not only brings great enjoyment in the game through combat and industrial support, but to also fatten their wallets so that they have the ability to pursue any of Eve's many ventures.
  • Capital ship production.
  • Capital ship component production.
  • Provide a constant stream of alliance channel advice and commentary.

    Policies

    As a member of Initiative Associates, Arkons of Myth follows the concept of NBSI (Not Blue, Shoot It) while in 0.0 security space. Fight or Die by your own hands. Arkons of Myth strives to experience optimal pvp participation in attempt to maintain a high kill to loss ratio.


    History

    2008

  • The alliance New Magnadyne Enterprises (NME) is formed by Janos Vaas in the Citadel Region.
  • NME takes on 12 corporations based in Domain from the ARMI Defence Pact.
  • The larger NME force makes a play at baseing in Venal for a month but is driven back by several local alliances.
  • NME consolidates into a single corporation and joins IRON (IRON), one of the larger 0.0 alliances to attain a goal of holding 0.0 space for PVP and Industrial advancement.
  • Arkons of Myth is formed under it's new CEO Aoi Hane. Hane was the previous diplomat for NME and was responsible for bringing all of the corporations into NME and then securing admittance into IRON.
  • Arkons of Myth Joins the Imperial Republic of the North (IRON)
  • Arkons successfully participates in the removal of G00DFELLAS and Liberty from Deklein and Pure Blind

    2009
  • June 2009 - Arkons leaves IRON after participation in the alliance severely drops and major issues in alliance leadership arise. IRON eventually folds.
  • June 2009 - Arkons joins Aggression Alliance and moves to Immensea, immediately recognizes a fail cascade in the making, and leaves right before the alliance is reset by its neighbors at the time, Atlas.
  • July 2009 - Arkons Joins KIA
  • September 2009 - After KIA had begun its fall into the abyss as well, Arkons of Myth was moved back to highsec by current corporation leader Aoi Hane.
  • October 2009 - By the insight of Aoi Hane, the corporation fled the failcascading KIA alliance and existed in highsec with no goals or aim for several months.

    2010
  • Early February 2010 - Metaphorically taking on water after a string of failed alliances, Arkons of Myth was merged into a corp within the BLAST alliance, -IT- pet, and the corporation was thereby shattered and destroyed.
  • Late February 2010 - Reborn from the ashes like the phoenix perched upon the corporation crest, Arkons of Myth was reformed as a personal corporation by former member Bunpei Shiatori in an attempt to restore the corporation's former glory.
  • Late March 2010 - Initially making its bread in highsec as a tech 2 ship manufacturer and consort of RL friends and family, the executive decision was passed along to attempt a venture into K space. The corporation ousted Zeitgeist Allianz, a gathering of Germans, and settled into a comfortable C2 wormhole with static highsec out.
  • September 2010 - After six successful and profitable months in wormhole space, Arkons of Myth was itself ousted by superior numbers from it's comfortable K space holdings. The Unseen Company, a violent alliance of polish players, was the offending alliance. Arkons of Myth escaped with minimal losses and overall gains.
  • September 2010 - Demoralized and realizing a change must be made, the corporation came in contact with DSC Corp, friends of several members corporation members. With this contact, Arkons of Myth joined Iniative Associates as a renter alliance.
  • Early October 2010 - After many of both failed and successful contacts with Initiative administrators, Arkons of Myth's begins renting space in FRTC, once again making its home in the region Immensea.
  • Late October 2010 - By a stroke of luck, Bunpei Shiatori gained the opportunity to move the corporation to its final home, and chose the system MS1-KJ in the peaceful Tenerifis region.
  • Early November 2010 - Realizing the corporation is not sustainable and will not meet rent on friends and family alone, and after having taken on several losses of minor but useful players, Bunpei Shiatori opens outside recruitment. Real Spacer is a personal friend and the first new member to join the corporation in several months, and to this day he helps the corporation cause immensely as a corporation director, logistics operator, and provider of general council.
  • Ongoing - To this day, Arkons of Myth continues to recruit excellent members, collect isk and ships, and run PVP operations from its new home. The corporation has come a long way, but is finally beginning to realize it's dream of greatness.
