Minmatar Special Operations
A recently abandoned project due to lack of funding from the Minmatar Republic, this organization of highly trained infiltrators and strategic captains, also capsuleers in the last few years, was created to ensure the safety of the Minmatar peoples and prevent further devastation to their culture. It was founded in 23226, just ten years after the Minmatar Rebellion, by various unknown Rebellion leaders. The mission of MSO agents was to observe the other three Empires, mostly to receive warning of any more attacks on the wounded race. More information is below, in categorized sections. Please note this report is a work in progress and some subjects included are still being researched. This report is subject to large changes and/or small edits and rephrasing.
Agents(Non-capsuleer)
Agents of the MSO received extensive training in hand-to-hand combat, all roles of starship operation, more recently advanced corporation infiltration techniques utilizing classified technologies developed by scientists within the organization. Agents were required to be at least 21 Eve-years of age and in top physical condition and health. They were required to have clear criminal records, and no ties to criminal or pirate organizations, exceptions made for those selected to infiltrate criminal and pirate organizations. There are no known agents living to this day, but it is believed there are a few across the galaxy.
Agents(Capsuleer)
Capsuleer agents were introduced nearing the end of the MSO, and had few requirements other than being Minmatar and experienced in space combat. Capsuleer agents were regarded with high respect, and usually received immediate promotions to high ranks after training. Training techniques for capsuleer agents is still unknown, held close to the surviving capsuleer agents and lost with those who have faded into oblivion. Some of these agents have made themselves known, and have passed on tales of their time in the organization. Their top agent, known best as T' Elk, is still alive but refuses to speak with reporters or researchers of his past, saying only it is best kept in the past.
Benefits and resources(Both Capsuleer and non-capsuleer)
Both capsuleer and non-capsuleer agents of the MSO had great benefits and resources available to them. They were provided with the best of quality ships and weapons, and also had all the resources of the Minmatar Republic at their disposal, with safeguards in place to keep from raising attention.
