Brutally Clever Racing Team

Template:ISRC Racing Team Brutally Clever Racing Team (BRUCE) is the name of a professional racing team no longer active with the ISRC Racing League.

History

Bruce team could not claim to be an old team but it was built on foundations with a past in racing, namely the old Eve University team which had competed in Season II and done well enough to be placed well above the middle of the standings, both individually and as a corporation. Season III saw a much less organised and less numerous participation from Eve-Uni, but they still managed a corporate 2nd place in the T1 class.

In Season IV, with the advent of custom teams and thus more possibilities at his fingertips for building a team, Steph Wing returned to captain his own team and bring back the spirit of perseverance the Eve-Uni team had been known for in Season II. With him he brought Sasha Contovis, who had been his team mate from those days, and added to his roster a number of rookies recruited from the ranks of the Brutally Clever Empire.

However, things didn’t go well. The team showed rustiness after a whole season away from the League. Their presence on the track became scarce and dwindled to nothing until Wing gave up and left for Venture. The team died out.

Trivia

• BRUCE had the biggest pilot roster at the beginning of Season IV, though they were later overtaken in that respect by customary League giants Venture Racing.
