First Foundation
The first founding of the Ordo Magna took place a short time before the eruption of the war between the Amarr and the Minmatar, when the Ordo Quaesitoris and the Ordo Ars Scientia split to fulfill their roles better.
Still, this existence came to an end shortly after, when the war erupted. Since the Ordo Quaesitoris wanted to participate in the battles ahead, they left the alliance, and it lost its meaning.
Current History
The second founding took place in the begining of year 111 (2009), when the Council of Sephiroths decided to retire from the war due to the recent problems between the Ordo Quaesitoris and the Ministry of Internal Order.
Creating again the Ordo Magna seemed like the natural thing to do at the moment, as well as separating the Ordo Nigrorum Susurri from the main corporation. Reorganizing everything after that took some time, but recruitment soon started again.
The Knights of Kador corporation joined the alliance for a short time after that, but soon left to pursue their own path in a relation of mutual trust and friendship.
Not long after that, the White Rose Society declared war on the whole of the Ordo Magna for a couple weeks. They cancelled the war themselves shortly after, with no decisive or massive kills on either side. From there on, the Ordo Magna ventured into the realm of the wormholes, and was planned from the start.
Finally, in November the new Ordo Peregrinus was formed, and part of the recently trained pilots of the Ordo Magna moved to it in order to rejoin the warfront against the Minmatarr in the 24th Imperial Crusade.
