Thermodynamics skill effect
The Thermodynamics (rank 3, Science) skill is the first one. Not only it allows overheating, but it also reduces heat generation by 5% per level.
can anyone confirm this? so far all i can say for sure is, thermodynamics reduces heat damage the module(s) takes if it does. by "heat generation" i would think of the pace the 3 heat gauges fill up and i've never felt any change there
- Fixed this in the article, the skill-description speaks also only about the heat damage --ISD BH Lenider 23:51, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
Nanite repair paste
How much paste is needed? Antaeras 01:52, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
That is a complicated question, from what I can tell nanite usage is a non linear function of module damage and tech level, but 1000 units should be more than plenty for almost any operation most people only carry 100 units or so. Which leads to the question: why does to article say "it takes quite a lot of space if you intend overloading your modules extensively"? The stuff has a volume of 0.01m3 per unit, even 1000 units is only 10m3. --Trabber Shir 03:13, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
Articel name
There is not other heat articles nor would any other article triumph a ingame mechanic articel, thus the (Game mechanic) part in article name has no value nor use nor purpose. BlackSmith Sisunautti 10:00, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
Dissipation: Only when rack is off?
Does heat only dissipate when all modules on the rack are inactive?
I say this because I've had a firetail where the heat is stuck, but the forum consensus is that with the afterburner always on, the rack never cools off.
I haven't had a chance to test this for sure yet.
