CSM meeting protocol

This article is designed to outline the agreed protocol in CSM Meeting in order to serve as a reminder to Existing CSM members, and a guide to new CSM members.

Meeting Location and Confidentiality

  • Meetings are held in the chat channel "councilofstellarmanagement". A chat channel is used instead of Eve voice so as to keep a definitive record of the conversation.
  • All communication in the councilofstellarmanagement channel falls under the NDA.
  • The channel "eve-csm" may be used for NDA and unofficial Banter.

Meeting Time

Meeting time is determined by the Chairman, in consultation with members in order to accomodate all time-zones. Typically the meeting is held during the weekends.

Issue Submission

  • Issues should be added to this wiki using the {standard template?}
  • Issues must be submitted within ?X? days of the meeting start date for consideration. This is to provide other CSM members to review and respond to the

Meeting protocol

To keep the communication flowing and reduce people talking over each other, the CSM uses the following in chats:

  • Type "!" to indicate you want to talk. The Chair of the meeting will call your name when it's your turn. To speed up communications, it helps to pre-type your comments into Notepad.
  • Type [end] when you're finished talking, so the chair knows the next person who can talk
