Logoffski

Overview

Logoffski is a much debated and mostly despised PvP tactic used by certain players which typically leads to a lot of smack talk in local and in the forums.

Basically, when a person does a 'logoffski' he basically logs off his Neocom Client interface in order to escape either a combat situation or from being destroyed. Depending on whether an Aggression Timer is active, the persons ship will vanish from local space in a couple of minutes or up to 15 minutes if the Aggression Timer is active.

History

It is rumored that the logoffski tactic was first used by Russian Pilots from Red Alliance. BOB even named the 25S station, for a period of time, "25S - Logoffski Training Institute" in remembrance of the tactic.
