Originally from the Gallente Federation vonDarkmoor sought something other than what was on offer in his native culture. A collectivist, he stagnated in more individualistic roles. Years pass and he spends time in hisec, lowsec, nullsec (Detorid, and Providence) and in w-space too. He has an absolute preference for infrastructure building, organisational development ... but of course he needed an organisation, tribe, clan, or nation to belong to.

Generally speaking he adheres to an NRDS ethos although he is not bound by the temporary strictures of, for example, CVA KOS status.

With the coming of the Sleeper and Drifters he found himself deep in Amarr space and set up a corporation with the purpose of finding and exploiting technology from the wrecks found throughout what he knew as w-space. He bought salvage from other pilots, and even commissioned pilots to go into w-space on his behalf - the Driftech corporation was born. Years passed - and vonDarkmoor passed from view for a period of time re-emerging in the summer of 2019 (as some societies count such things). The arrival of the Triglavian Collective re-ignited his interest, some might say obsession, with Jovian technologies. Sadly, Driftech had stagnated and dwindled to nothing in his absence, their once active fleets dispersed and their Kor-Azor citadel reduced to atoms. He relocated once more to an area of Tash-Murkon where he had once thrived as a hi-sec indie, and re-established contact with several leading former members of Driftech.

At this point vonDarkmoor birthed the idea that salvaging and researching Jovian items had a purpose beyond mere temporary profit and that 'somewhere' out there in the vast, as yet undiscovered reaches of Anoikis, lay the key to accessing the isolated Jovian regions that had been sealed off since after the battle of Vak’Atioth. Driftech Industries was given a new lease of life with a new mission/purpose - to rediscover how the Jove architects and their Enheduanni caretakers found their way there into the far (and currently unreachable) areas of Anoikis in the first place. He knew that he should start his search in the Heaven constellation of that region of space now known as Curse .. an area where interlopers were not particularly welcome.

With others, vonDarkmoor began the process of putting together an alliance of like-minded souls - and a plan started to take form.
