Outpost 4972
Outpost 4972 is a mineral extracting facility located on a desert planet. The minerals are used in the creation of hybrid polymers that are in turn used for components in the capsuleer industry.
Theft
At one point, notable staff included Kartanen Sedia as the overseer of the facility; Jania Bedtot and Szekel were researchers who studied samples of life uncovered during mining; and Rakan Dep was the security officer. Following the landing of an asteroid that contained primitive life, Szekel absconded with the research data. Security forces from the corporation that owned the outpost arrived shortly after and interrogated the staff about Szekel in hopes of recovering the data. The interrogations were brutal, and the fates of Kartanen, Jania and Rakan are unknown.
