Soul Takers (Player Corporation)

Soul Takers are a small pirate corporation with headquarters in the Essence low security system Old Man Star. The pirates have been based there for at least the last five years and give no indication of departing any time soon.

Best known for camping the Villore gate and terrorizing the region with their black ops battleships. They have featured on various eve news websites and blogs for their crimes. Notably categorized by one blogger as "The Bitter Blob" after he was made victim to a merciless black ops drop.

Another notable story was when Soul Takers pilot Aglon bumped Titan Pilot Ved Speed's Erebus from the safety of Ved's POS by hitting the protruding nose of the Titan. An action that resulted in a ban of Aglon's Piloting License by CCP who stated it was an exploit and the Titan was reimbursed. There was an outcry from the community highlighting the lack of clarity on this specific exploit. The ban was then revoked and clarification made on the exploit. Resulting in a positive change and fairer mechanic being implemented in a patch soon afterwards.

This was not the end of the story. No more than a month later Ved Speed accidentally drifted his Erebus Titan out of the safety of his POS shields. Still under the diligent watch of Soul Takers pilots, the drifting Titan was noticed and together with Shadow Cartel, Soul Takers swiftly destroyed the Titan.
