The 10-segrity racing team is a frigate race team in the Sub-warp Racing Venture league consisting mostly of (former) members of the [PYGAL] corporation.

Team Statistics

Formation

Racing team 10-segrity was formed in 111 YC. The idea of a corporate racing team had been discussed earlier within [PYGAL], but at the time the corporation decided they lacked the funds for such a team. After developments in rig technology made it cheaper to fit competitive ships, and after Erik Finnegan had alerted Biko about the soon to start 2nd season of the SRV league they revisited the idea of the corporate team, and a group of around 4 [PYGAL] pilots formed the 10-segrity racing team.

The Debut

The team was not able to field a pilot in the 1st race of the 2nd SRV season, but they entered the 2nd race with 3 pilots. The team performed very well, according to captain Biko, with Vertillia finishing in 3rd place (with equal points as 2nd place), and the entire team finishing in the top 6 positions, in a race with 11 pilots participating in total. The resulting team score gave them a good chance to win the team prize despite missing the 1st race.

During the rest of the season, where fewer and fewer pilots opponents showed up, Losvar, consistently finishing in 1st place, was about the only pilot who prevented the team from taking the top 3 spots. Only in the 5th race, when Losvar did not participate, did the team take the top 3 spots, with Twinkle in 1st, in a race where only 4 pilots took part.
The team did win the team prize, mostly by being most consistent in fielding the required amount of pilots (3) to qualify for a team score.

3rd SRV Season

During the following season, which had a similar attendance pattern, skilled SRV rookies Akira Miamoto and Olozim, were the only other contenders for 1st place, apart from Losvar, who returned in the last race under the alias "kabalsatan". Vertillia won the 2nd race and Biko secured his first victory in the 3rd race during the Impulse Con 112 event, followed by his second in the 4th race against 2 rookies. In the fifth race Biko was close to victory as well, but kabelsatan won, with only 1 point seperating 1st and 2nd place.
The team also won the team prize uncontested, with no other team competing for team scores. This prize was largely donated back to the Sub-warp Racing Venture.

4th SRV Season

The 4th season had seen low attendance, with only 4-5 pilots participating and Biko being the only team member to participate. Biko started off the season well in the 1st race, receiving no penalties and finishing in 1st place, securing his first victory over kabelsatan with again only 1 point between them. The second race he was neck and neck again against kabelsatan, but Biko finished 2nd after a dramatic 3rd lap, suffering from problems with the MWD overload control.
The season had come to a complete standstill following the disappearance of Julius Rigel, and will not be completed.

Last Activities

After a period of inactivity during the time when there were no races, the team competed in the SRV races hosted in the Summer of 115, winning several top 3 finish positions.

Other Activities

Holovids

Team members have assisted in the production of 3 SRV holovids. The first is a cinamatic SRV promo [1] by Thoros Moonshadow, but it was never officially released. The second is a SRV tutorial [2] starring Biko and SRV owner Julius Rigel, shot by Ankhesentapemkah. The third is another tutorial featuring the new gates [3], directed by Julius Rigel.

Formation Flying

Several team members were/are also part of Rigel's "Flying Club", where they would practice manual control, flying in formation and acrobatic maneuvers. The club performed during the Impulse Con 112, and while the pilots in the formation deemed it a poor performance, the spectators were impressed.
