Station containers are used for inventory management. They can be used by the Capsuleer to organize their personal inventory. They can also be used in corporation hangars to organize, and restrict access to some items via the use of passwords. A station container can be named to reflect the contents that are stored. Station hangars also have an auditing function. This enables officers and directors to view who is accessing the container and what they have removed.

Station containers are too large to be used to haul freight.
