Salvage Drone I

Description

Once launched and given the order to salvage, this drone will automatically seek out your wrecks in the vicinity, salvage from them any useable materials and deposit those materials in your ship's cargohold. It will not, however, loot any valuables contained within the wrecks.

A salvage drone respects wreck ownership and will focus on its operator's wrecks unless explicitly ordered otherwise. Whether or not its operator chooses to display that same respect is another question entirely.

Commands

If you have a wreck targeted , right click the drone and select Salvage from the context menu to order your salvage drones to salvage the targeted wreck. They will only salvage that wreck, then return to you. In this manner drones will salvage the wreck, regardless of ownership.

In order to salvage all available wrecks, right click the "Drones in Active Space" header in drone management and then choose salvage. In this manner, drones will only salvage wrecks that are white or blue to you.

Known Bugs

As of 12/4/2012: Known issue regarding salvage drones not auto salvaging corp owned wrecks. CCP Dev Team is evaluating.
