Would it be possible to change the color scheme of and the icons in the table to follow the overall wiki theme more? Or have this user definable maybe in the parameters for the template? Also, out of curiosity, why not use the standard wiki markup for tables? --Ryushe 19:01, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

This doesn't seem to be working: <tr><td colspan="2" style="padding:3px;padding-left:10px">{{CorporateLogo|{{{id}}}}}</td></tr>

Also please add at least current alliance tag as well.

I also reordered the way info is displayed to make more logical sense DrAtomic 23:54, 13 December 2008 (UTC)

I made a new version of the Corp Info table, please see it here: Template:Player_Corporation/NewVersion. This version has slightly altered info, including Alliance name if any, more EVElopdia style colors, wiki markup etc. --Ryushe 23:57, 13 December 2008 (UTC)

Looking forward to seeing it (isnt approved yet so can't see it yet), also adding a tag for a killboard tag seems to make sense as well in addtition to current alliance. DrAtomic 00:00, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

You should be able to see it, click the link above (when logged in) and then select the History tab and view the latest version. As for killboard tag, might be a good idea, although this is not an epeen contest, it's an informational system --Ryushe 00:03, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

Looks pretty good imho, as long as the killboard is an optional link which doesnt display if it's not filled in (closed should be like that as well) it wouldnt be intrusive and allows those that want to put it in. DrAtomic 00:07, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

The problem with optional info is that it relies on being able to do conditional statements in the wiki markup, something this wiki does not yet have enabled. Should be a minor thing to activate, but would help out immensely with certain templates. --Ryushe 00:09, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
Yep, still waiting on parserfunctions for more robust, useful, and workable templates. Daquaris 23:43, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

Rewritten

Hi all, I've rewritten this template in wiki markup, instead of HTML. Should look the same, just be easier to work with (and, render properly within the style -- no more TOC bug!) now. Daquaris 22:04, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

Cheers, looks solid, I've resorted to making an extended corp template in wml (or at least am trying hehehe). DrAtomic 22:44, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

Parameter standardisation

Changed parameters to share those with Template:Player Corporation; for standarization, name -> corpname, closed -> status.

Updating the corps that use the template. DrAtomic 22:59, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

All corps using this template have had their variables updated. DrAtomic 01:35, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

Restyled template

Restyle

  • Restyled to resemble EvE Online style.
  • Bolded corporation name.
  • Bolded ticker.

Fixed

  • Fixed corplogo to work
  • Fixed ceo to link to character instead of contributor (character is the ingame persona being documented, contributor is the reallife wiki editor).

Removed

  • Removed member count (too dynamic, changes on daily basis).

Changed

  • Changed closed to status, in order to represent both Active and Closed states.

Added

  • Added publicchannel, which can hold the corporations ingame public chat/recruitment channel.
  • Added friendly website name tag.
  • Added NoPilotPicture.jpg to display exlamation mark if no logo is entered.
  • Added caption for logo which allows for a description of the corp logo if such is desired.
  • Added {{PAGENAME}} tag to Player Corporation category in order to show used templates.

Update

  • All corppages using the template have been updated in order not to break them once this transistion is approved.
  • Documentation/instructions have been updated.

Buggy Header?

[[Category:Player Corporations|Template:I N E X T R E M I S]] Seems to be showing up at the top of any page using this template. --Milo Caman 11:09, 17 November 2012 (GMT)

Removed |Template:I N E X T R E M I S<nowiki> from the header. Looks like someone was attempting some (emphasis attempting) some good ol' corporate advertising. --~~~~
