Desolate Site is a deadspace Cosmic Signature combat site occupied by NPC's known as Rogue Drones. It can be found by Probing for exploration sites in high security systems throughout the Eve Universe.

This combat site is a single area accessed by an Acceleration gate. The gate will permit Frigate, Destroyer, Cruiser Class ships and their Tech 2 counterparts.

NPC ship class encountered within this combat site are Frigate and Destroyer class. The names and amount of ships spawning may vary slightly from what is listed here.

Please note: There are several Infested Station structures located in this pocket. Destroying these would require a lot of time and a large amount of munitions being used.

A Sentient Rogue Drone (Commander) NPC may spawn. Sentient Commander wrecks will usually give Tech 2 salvage and may contain Rogue Drone Components used in Manufacturing and Production. All wrecks will contain Alloys and Compounds.

This combat site may escalate into Mare Sargassum

Escalation Start - Mare Sargassum

Mare Sargassum expedition is an escalation of the 'Desolate Site' combat site found by Probing for exploration sites in high security systems. This expedition consists of four different open area locations (no Acceleration gate) starting in a High Security system with the last location in a Low Security system. The NPC ships encountered are Frigate and Destroyer class. The names and amount of ships spawning may vary slightly from what is listed here.
