Jonas Varitec was for three years captain of the Redford (YC 107-110 May). The Redford was a sick salvage frigate starship. For the successful rescue of Falek Grange, he received a reward. Jamyl Sarum gave him a Drake-class battlecruiser, a fearsome warship of Caldari design, but his crimes prevented him from returning to Caldari space. So he learned the necessary skills among the Khanids. There he found allies - fellow Caldarians just like him - who are versed in both cultures[1]-
