I've redone the entire Amarr page. Im working on unlocking everything but it does require some oversight from our end so it has to remain locked for the moment. I will however attempt to check in as much as possible and we will do a weekly review of the EVELopedia content. Further suggestions are more than welcome, i've cleaned this page of all the old ones. --CCP Ginger 16:05, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

When did the Empire start to officially have a God-Empress? That seemed new so had a look at the old background here: http://www.eveonline.com/races/amarr.asp

"Amarr: The largest of the empires in the world of EVE, Amarr spans 40% of the inhabited solar systems. The Amarr Emperor is the head of a ritualistic, authoritarian imperial state, and below him are the Five Heirs, the heads of the five royal families from which a new Emperor is chosen. The Emperor's authority is unquestioned and absolute, but the archaic and bureaucratic system of government makes it difficult for him to exert his rule unless directly in person. Otherwise, the Five Heirs rule in his name, dividing the huge empire between them."

That and the rest matches with the introduction of this article except for the "God-Empress/Emperor" bit - no mention of the Emperor being revered as God himself there.

Ah, in the latest character creation, when you select Amarr as your race the flavour text matches the first paragraph of the article, including the God-Empress. Oddly however the voiceover does not. The voiceover woman just says "mighty Empress" while the text says "mighty God-Empress".

Minor thing

The "Khanid" link should link to the Khanid Bloodline page, not a disambiguation page. --Drazdin 18:34, 31 January 2011 (UTC)

If Empire Faction isn't an appropriate Category anymore, then this Category should be removed.
