Serpentis Fortress

Room 1: Locked gate. There are 3 groups. In order from left to right, Group 1 (far left) has 4 BS, 7 or so cruisers and 5 to 7 frigs. Group 2 (middle group) is made up of only frigs and cruisers about 15 to 20 of them total in the group. Group 3 (far right) 5 battleships, 10 to 14 cruisers, 10 or so frigs. Group 3 does the most DPS so watch your aggro as it is very easy to get the attention of the wrong group as they are range triggered, group 3 triggers at 40 to 30 KM and the frigs web and scram, so watch it!

Room 2:

  • 4 Coreli Guardian Initiate (Web/Scramble)
  • 6 Assault Ships (Can Sensor Damp)
  • 2 Frigates
  • 4 Destroyers
  • 4 Cruisers
  • 3 Battlecruisers
  • 3 Battleships
  • (possible faction spawn 8+ Million)

Once all are dead focus on station, nothings spawns when shooting station.

Expedition after Shadow kill/Destruction of the Station:

"As the bits and pieces from the disintegrated station charge into space, carrying the news of heightened entropy in the universe, your instruments receive an unusual message. It obviously is being transmitted from a Serpentis ship and even though the person on the other end does not introduce himself as such, there is no doubt that this is the pompous accent of a Serpentis topcat. He demands talking in a closed channel and after you have established one, he continues with some congratulations on your brave victory and then he gives you an offer; If you go to three different locations he provides, assassin the Serpentis leaders operating there and gather all loot you find for him, he will pay you one billion ISK. He then gives you coordinates to a location in a "take it or leave it" manner, before saying farewell and adds that he will contact you after this first target is destroyed."

Escalation 1

On Warp In you hit an Newly Constructed Gate with

5 Battleships

4 Battlecruisers

1 Shadow Serpentis Battleship (if you're lucky)

Upon warping through the gate or destruction of the Shadow Serpentis BS, you might get the next escalation.

Escalation 2

You warp in next to a massive rock where there are a collection of Frigates, Cruisers and BattleCruisers with the potential of getting a Shadow Serpentis Battleship Rat.

Upon killing the Shadow Serpentis Rat you should recieve the next escalation.

Escalation 3

Initial warp-in puts you about 30km from the collection of Frigate, Cruisers, BattleCruisers and a few Battleships, one of which may be a Shadow Serpentis Rat.

Upon killing the last cruiser you might receive the last and final escalation.

Escalation 4 (Final)

The "Warp To Location" from your journal will warp you to an Accelaration Gate. Once you warp in through the first gate you warp in around 30km from another gate with several rats in the first room. You will have 1 Battleship and a few frigates and cruisers to kill before you can enter the next room. The second room will have 4 Battleships and one of them will be a Shadow Grand Admiral, however this is not a Shadow Serpentis rat but an Overseer Rat. When you kill this you will have completed the plex and in the wreck you will hopefully have some Core A-Type Loot. The rest of the room contains several Frigates, Cruisers and BattleCruisers which you do not need to kill but helps in getting that little bit more isk.

Difficulty rating

  • I used a Passive Shield Tanked Ishtar with a Basilisk and a DPS Drake to clear the plexes quickly.
  • Solo'd every stage in active tanked nighthawk.
  • Initial Serpentis Fortress plex done easily with full passive tanked Drake and dps Harbinger, both full T2 fitted.
  • Solo'd every stage in a passive drake.
