Since Incursion 1.1.0 patch, only the Control Center at the bottom of the table may be bought or deployed. As a result of the patch, this Control Center is upgradeable once it is deployed, up to the same levels as shown in the table (disregard the Basic entry). The upgrade details are as follows:

Command Center Uses

The Command Center must be placed from your cargo hold onto a planet while in planetary interaction mode. There are 6 different structures that each take up a certain amount of power and CPU, much like a POS. Please note the Extractor Heads can only be deployed from an Extractor Control Unit.

Please note: You do not need to purchase any of the addon structures (with the exception of the command centers) from a station. You will be able to build them from the command center, and the ISK cost will be assessed from your wallet.

Final Thoughts

Command Centers will provide you with the basis for planetary production operations. Please note however that you are not yet able to leave your pod. This will not be available until Incarna.
