For T3s I would think the minimum (i.e. no modules) requirement would be very low compared to a T1 or T2 cruiser, but the non-subsystem modules themselves are not Tech-3. Therefore, I would guess that it needs SOME crew to operate. T3s do have some windows, although compared with other cruisers, there are far fewer. --Kyle Tracer 01:43, 17 July 2012 (GMT)

Following that reason it would then be fair to assume that the tech 3 cruiser should require little or no crew at all, considering how sophisticated they are and how automated everything must be.

It's often been speculated that since Tech 2 ships are designed expressly for capsuleer piloting, they might generally have lower crew requirements. Can a CCP type confirm/deny this? It'd be good info to include here if it is in fact the case.

How is the change from most frigates having zero crew explained? I'm mainly interested in why they did before and don't now: that's a step backwards and I don't see why all capsuleers everywhere would suddenly take it. - Mirabi Tiane 07:56, 21 April 2011 (UTC)

Typical crew numbers.

Allright, so we have minimum crew numbers (for both capsuleer variants and non-capsuleer variants) and we have maximum passengers.

But what is a "typical" crew when all modules are loaded and the ship is flying on some operation? Numbers for both capsuleers and non-capsuleer variants would be cool. Any sources for this apart from "all this lives are fit to ruin"?
