Material sink

A material sink is a mechanic where goods leave the EVE universe, whether through consumption, destruction or waste.

This can cause an inflation effect as the amount of goods in the universe decreases, but the amount of ISK remains the same.

Examples

POS Fuel consumption.
Decryptor consumption in invention.
PvP where ship/structure losses occur.
