system security (highsec & lowsec)

Info about these should be added, or the redirection removed. --ingenting 10:58, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

This article states: "Empire controlled sectors with low security rating will rely on sentry guns to uphold minimum law and order and these will destroy anyone who attacks other pilots or the sentry guns themselves." This is completely false/misleading. Sentry guns may fire upon aggressors, but large/capable ships will be able to tank sentry gun damage quite easily. Thus, inexperienced pilots in small ships may be led to believe that they are relatively secure when in the vicinity of sentry guns, while quite the opposite is true.

The article says "Attacking a member of a corporation/gang is regarded as an attack on the whole corporation/gang, meaning that gang members can assist each other if they come under attack, without the risk of losing security rating." and this is patently wrong.

Gangs (now named fleets since what, two years) play no role whatsoever and there are cases where one can attack someone without his corpmates being able to shoot back legally, e.g. shooting a thief. - Lubomir Penev 12:42, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
