Summary
The S&I interface has been ignored for a long period of time. Granted, the interface for the “Accept quote” page has been given a good amount of love(Thank god!), but it’s hardly the interface that needs the most love.
The task of installing jobs is painful. First of all, the selection of installation is at best a painful take. Having to click into a new UI for selecting it, as well as the delay to fetch all the installations, is a pain. Having to switch between corporate and public installations is also a pain. It remembers one’s selection from last time, which is good.
Next up is the Accept Quote page. Granted, it did get an overhaul. But a large amount of the times it takes to install is to wait for it to calculate the quote. Often one just wants to find out what it takes to install a job of a certain size. Maybe this could be calculated on the fly?
Also, batch jobs. This should be a HIGH priority!! For instance, being able to install 5 invention jobs into my Mobile Labrotary at once instead of doing them 1 by 1 would do WONDERS!
