Megathron

The Megathron, commonly referred to as the "Mega" is the second tier battleship of the Gallente. It is used in PvP as either a blaster boat, sometimes referred to as Blasterthron, or a sniper, performing equally well in both roles.

Its Tech 2 big brother, the Kronos, is commonly toted as one of the highest dps ships in the game.

In PvE the Mega is often the recommended ship to be used against Serpentis rats, but can perform adequately against all types of rats and is therefor a popular mission ship.

Due to its 7 low slots, the Megathron is almost exclusively fitted as an active or passive armor tank.
