Theriese

Theriese is a large asteroid named by the miner Gabri Chican. The asteroid and those smaller ones caught in its gravity are home to a rogue drone hive.

The hive is positioned on the inner sides of two “gateway” asteroids so it is hidden from view of approaching miners. In a sense, Theriese is used as bait by the rogue drones, who attack approaching mining ships and tear them apart to use as components in their hive.
