The "Live Events" channel is an ingame channel for players. The main topic of the channel is Live events and incursions. the channel was created by W3370Pi4. the channel is known by CCP as a reliable place to find informations about incursions and live events as it was mentioned by a developer in a video devblog. The channel is also randomly visited by ISD's.

What are live events
Live events are a part of EVE’s storyline. They are moments in game where EVE's factions come to life momentarily through the use of “actor” characters. These characters are managed and controlled by CCP staff.
Events happen in-game via these actors. Out of game, events are supported by news articles, forum posts , ingame chat channels, and in the past, entire websites.
Live events aim to serve various goals:
To provide fun, rewarding, and meaningful experiences. To help evolve the storyline of EVE and create a "living, breathing universe". To promote EVE's storyline and empower players to have a degree of influence over it. To catalyze emergent gameplay in all its glorious forms.
