Background

Founded in May of 2011, BiPolar Stability (2STAB) was created by a group of Ex-sovereignty 0.0 Veterans sick of bowing to some higher authority within their alliance. Mandatory fleetops and call-to-arms common in sovereignty holding alliances tend to get in the way of real life and fun, prompting these pioneers to create a new kind of Alliance.

As the alliance name sort of indicates, 2STAB members tend to be a bit BiPolar. They take their PVP very seriously, but like to maintain a close-knit camaraderie while not in active battle. As such, they tend to like a certain sort of player; someone mature who is capable of and willing to PVP, while not being overly demanding or serious.

What They Do

2STAB members are expected to be self-sufficient, working for there won isk. They are welcome to do this however they wish: PVE, mining, trade, piracy, or any other way.

They then use this isk to fund their PVP, which takes place mostly in non-sovereignty null-sec. They specialize in small gang warfare, tending to avoid blobbing, preferring pilot skill over sheer numbers.

Soveriegnty

If you are looking to hold sovereignty, or fight in large-scale wars as a blob, you are looking in the wrong place. 2STAB is fervently against holding sovereignty, as they believe it leads to mandatory fleetops and call-to-arms that get in the way of real life and the fun of the game.

Policies

BiPolar hates corp-theft & griefing newbies in 1.0 systems (bad for EVE ONLINE as a whole). ...just say NO!

2STAB has TS3....use it....log in even when not PVPing.....Their idea is to fight together, get sloshed on beer while on TS3 together and it's a great way to really get the players to know each other. If you like to just be perma-AFK...well.....WoW is always a great game for you too...

Empire PVP: The Alliance does not mind fighting in Empire, however, we are talking about War Declarations and defending yourself from griefers. Many in our alliance are hardset against corp-theft and retarded PVP (aka, drop a can in 1.0 system and popping newbs). Such actions will find a swift boot out of alliance.

Low Sec PVP: Up to you if you wanna go after Pirates and such...however, if you do, you run the risk of getting ganked by the station guns...etc. It's your ship after all.

NULLSEC PVP: We run on a NBSI policy. For those of you with no PVP experience, that means if you ain't one of us and/or a blue, you are fair game. If you come willy-nilly to our fleet and not part of fleet, blued up with us or part of the alliance....prepare for the goo vat.

RULE #1 - Fly what you can afford to lose

RULE #2 - The FC is in charge, you will follow orders without being a jackass....well...you may be a jackass....but you WILL follow commands or leave the PVP fleet.

RULE #3 - TeamSpeak 3 is mandatory in Alliance. We use this to help keep your overpriced-implanted clone alive.
