Summary

Some players are lucky enough to enjoy Eve on a dual monitor setup. The game already allows you to stretch the program over two monitors, and since a few patches you can even move the locked targets and the ship control panel. However, if you stretch your window over two monitors your ship will be exactly in the center - half on screen A and half on screen B. This makes using a dual screen setup really annoying.

Suggestion to CCP

Allow players to adjust the camera center, in such a way that they can adjust their view so the player's ship is situated in the center of the monitor of their choice. This means that one monitor (the one without the ship) will show more space than the other.

An alternative solution is to allow players to set the viewport (similar to WoW), so that players can set the viewport of the 3D view on monitor 1, and move their windows, overview, etc to the other monitor.

Pros

  • Allow people to easily use multi monitor setups

Cons

  • None
