03/102010: PLANETARY INTERACTION IS ON SISI ONLY - IT IS NOT LIVE! CONTENTS OF THIS SITE WILL CHANGE UNTIL TYRANNIS IS DEPLOYED (AND OF COURSE MIGHT CHANGE LATER).
Purpose of this document: Short introduction in the mechanics of planetary interaction.
How to start interacting with a planet: Get yourself an industrial ship, buy a planetary command center, warp to a planet, view the planet in planetary interaction mode, build a planetary command center.
How to start extracting ore: Build an ore extractor, right-click it, scan for an ore deposit, select it, create a link to cmomand center, create a route to command center.
How to get your resources off the planet: Go to the command center, right-click it, select Launch..., choose whatever you want to get launched into the planet's orbit, launch it. Alternativly go into command center, selct Start, add resources to the payload, Go for launch.
How to gather resources in orbit: View journal, select planetary tab, right-click on an list item, warp to at 0, get your stuff out of the container once you are there.
