The Khanid Family is one of the original Five Heir families of the Amarr Empire. The family was named after the Khanid bloodline, whom they were placed in charge of during the early days of the Reclaiming. The Khanid Family rebelled against the Amarr Empire in 22762 AD, when then-Heir Khanid II refused to acknowledge the election of Heideran VII to the station of the Emperor. The Khanid Family is now the ruling family of the Khanid Kingdom and is still led by Khanid II.[1]
